Luhan still sounds like a Native Korean, Kris is in the middle and Tao can probably survive in the country if needed even though his pronunciation isn't that good anymore but still better than mine 😅

i think kris speaks great korean and his korean got “better” (maybe improved) after leaving exo. i just think so since his pronunciation sounds so natural
lmao tao's korean was always a bit strange- i think he's just someone who doesn't click with the language very well (when he uses korea it's so cute tho LOL)
Luhan speaks so smoothly like he's still living in Korea. But Tao is the complete opposite lol. He hasn't forgotten the words but his tones are way off 😅 and Kris is in between lol
I think its got to do with their baseline level of proficiency as well. You have a lot more of a “buffer” to regress if you start off at a higher point. Luhan was originally really fluent, like native level korean to the point many people thought he was one of the korean members in exo m at debut. Kris also was a trainee for 5 years before debut, and so learned the language for a long time and spoke it a lot as well. Meanwhile Tao struggled with Korean pronounciation a great deal even while in exo and also picked it up pretty late; he only got more proficient a year-ish into their debut somewhere about growl era and then he left soon after, so its not at all surprising to me. The fact that he remembers the vocabulary at all is already pretty great.
Luhan spoke Korean like a native to the point that he would understand Korean idiomatic expressions most foreigners wouldn't get. He had regressed since he's no longer based in Korea.
Well Luhan did study it in university so that’s why he’s good but he’s probably gotten rusty as he has t been using it a lot- though he still seems really fluent
I swear SM will not slip the news easily if that happened. You know SM will do anything to make that they had no interaction. But in secret, I really hope that Kris Tao and Luhan will attend it. In my mind, I think they knew that Jongdae is getting married and will become a father

Luhan was basically fluent when he was still in Exo, due to the fact that he had been learning it for at least 6 years already. The chances of forgetting a language will become smaller the more fluent you get
Omooo... It seems you did not read the real report well. Kris was the Chinese member who had been trained for more than 4 years until debut (January 2008-April 2012) while Tao trained for 1 year and half and Luhan only trained 1 year since he was scoutted by SM agency due to his unique look in 2011.
Dechris Ellena Luhan was scouted in 2010 but he had been studying in Korea at the time. This is why Luhan was the Chinese member who was the most fluent in Korean since he actually wen to school in Korea for several years before becoming a trainee
Kris being polite by saying "pls let our Korean friends ask first" Im. Their fluency tells they still practice the language maybe theyre watching Korean shows and still in contact with Korean friends (I even think they have gc or dmed occasionally with the members)
Purple panda Sometimes I like to imagine EXO in an alternate universe, where Kris is the main English speaking one and eventually taking up Suho and Kyungsoo as English speaking apprentices. I think they could have lasted much longer in the scene. I’m not saying that they’re irrelevant right now, but since military service they’ve gone on hiatus as a group and only unit activities are possible. The chances of EXO-M (China line, performing together in China while the rest were away) and probably more promotions. I dunno, I’m such a huge OT12 stan that it still sometimes gets me when I look back and think about the possibilities IF THEY NEVER LEFT. But I’m happy for them since they can freely do whatever they want now. But I wish their friendship remained. Like how Hangeng is with SuJu members now. I WANT THAT FOR MY BOYS, TOO.
The way Luhan speaks honestly always reminds me to the way Kun speaks. They are that type who will smoothly >_< it makes me want to listen over and over
Luhan is just a native (even if he doesn't know a few words, his pronunciation is almost perfect) Kris has improved a lot and can understand way more now than when he was in EXO 😶 Tao, well, his pronunciation has always been like that (even for Chinese or any other language, his pronunciation has that ……… vibe) but he is still as good as before in his vocabulary

Awe I'm so sad honestly like they've moved on with their life and made so many accomplishments with or without exo. ❤ I hope kris, luhan, and two are doing fine and is chasing after their dream. 💛
When the 3 of them left I was still on junior high. So young and sensitive, I was so sad back there. Time flies real fast and I'm an adult now. Watching these takes me back to that time, same emotion I had when I am younger, but mature enough to understand why they had to leave. Im so happy for them, and am forever an Exo-L
It's great that they still communicate in what language that is needed. I love it when they speak any language, but have grown more to hearing them speaking Mandarin/Cantonese (their mother tongue), due to their music/shows. It does feel like it's been a long time since I've heard them speak Hangul, and even I'm still shocked when I hear them. They're awesome and I'm sure their Kfans are waiting for them... 2022 is almost here, no worries.
0:29 everyone got her native tongue wrong. Lol. First they thought she was Japanese. Then used English. Kris finally figured out she was Korean. It's great to be muilti-lingual. I remember was in Walmart once and some Korean women had a problem with their purchase but couldn't communicate with the cashier. I felt bad for them cuz I knew they were speaking Korean but I'm not fluent enough to understand and wished I could have helped them with their problem :(

I miss them. Tao and Luhan probably still keep in touch with the members. Can't wait to see them having a reunion after exo left that sh*tty company 😚😚
For me, my opinion, they were all good. Kris and Luhan they sound like a native Korean. For Lay he absolutely good because he's not an ex-member, he still a member of EXO. The new comeback in this year 2021 he was there. For Tao, yes he do speak Korean but his pronounce more in Chinese
literally like my first bias in exo was kris then he left,then my bias was luhan then he left, then my bias was tao and he left too...but im still supporting them now
