I love the clarity with which Amir Junaid Muhadith speaks and gives up the daw'ah. May Allah reward him with the highest place in Janna! I loved his point about no one calling the followers of Ibrahim, alayhi was salaam, "Ibrahimites" or the followers of Moses (Musa), alayhi was salaam, "Mosesians." His response to the question about the Nation of Islam, the Moorish Science, etc. showed great Hikma (wisdom) without being offensive to the members or sympathizers of that particular viewpoint. With respect to what he was explaining about the verse "Call no man your father" I came to a similar conclusion when I learned the word “RABBI” (pronounced “rub-bee") or “Lord, Cherisher and Sustainer” has been mistranslated as “Father” throughout the New Testament by Western scholars who translated the Bible. In addition, the words “ABED” (sometimes written as “EBED”) or “PAIS, which mean “SERVANT” or “SLAVE” were mistranslated as “son”. Therefore, the expressions “son of God” or “son of man” should be reread as “SERVANT OF GOD” or “SERVANT OF MAN!” The fact that WESTERN writers who translated the Bible had NO KNOWLEDGE of the EASTERN concepts that were part of the culture of where MOST OF the incidents in THE BIBLE took place produced the CONFUSION which currently exists in the Christian's understanding of both GOD and JESUS! Further, there are several words related to "Rabbi" (rub-bee") in Aramaic, Hebrew and Arabic. First of all, you have "RABBI" (pronounced "rab-bye") the term the Jews called their religious leaders that Jesus criticized them for in Matthew 23, as they came up with this term because they allowed their "priests" to make LAWS they put on the same level as (or higher than) what ALLAH (God) revealed to Moses and to make LAWFUL what ALLAH said was UNLAWFUL and vice-versa, In Islam, we learn that the concept of "Tawheed Rubbubiyah" (pronounced "taw-heed rub-boo-bee-yah"; also related to this word) is that ALLAH is One in His Rule and His Laws are Supreme! With respect to Jesus, there is a word called "RABBANI" (pronounced "rub-bun-nee") which refers to a person of knowledge who acts according to it and who educates and reforms the people according to what he has learned from the Creator (in short) as "MASTER-TEACHER' (as in a martial arts instructor). (see the plural form of this word at the end of Qur'an 3:79). This, however, was MISTRANSLATED as "Lord" by Western scholars who “translated the Bible, just as "Rabbi" ('rub-bee’) was mistranslated as "FATHER" - producing the CONFUSION which currently exists in the Christian's understanding of both GOD and JESUS! Thus, Matthew 23: begins to make sense when it is properly translated. Thus, verses 5-10 should be translated: (in speaking to the Jews): “All their works they do to BE SEEN OF MEN. They make broad the leather cases for their Scriptures, and enlarge the borders of their garments And LOVE THE UPPERMOST ROOMS at feasts, and the CHIEF SEATS in the synagogues. And greetings in the markets, and to be called of men RABBI, RABBI (rab-bye; a twisting of the word “rub-bee”). But do not be called Rabbi (Lord and Supreme Law-Giver); for One is your Lord, even Christ’s., and you are all brethren. And call no man your RABB (“rubb”) (Lord and Supreme Law-Giver) upon the Earth; for One is your Lord, He who is in Heaven. Neither you be called RABBANI (Master-Teachers; for One is your Master-Teacher, that is, Christ. [see: namesforgod.net/rabbi/ and biblehub.com/hebrew/5649.htm]

What can you possibly offer that is better than what this brother has explained here? He knows his Lord, he knows his prophet as well as the other prophets, and he knows his purpose. I would suggest you continue to sincerely study the life of Jesus and if you are sincere, you just may be guided.

Some revert so good that they appear better Muslims than born Muslims themselves. They'll put born Muslims to shame. Mohammad Ali, Malcolm x. Mike tyson.. Aren't one of them. I wish they were... But Ali like others were more "integrated" Muslims. He did a lot for Muslims no doubt and may Allah accept his efforts and enter him in Jannah.

Deep reflections by our Br Ameer Reflected myself on when giving da'wah to Christians. It's not just a logical approach to them but rather upon us is to encompass the emotional attachment as well. In the example Br Ameer mentioned was when confronting their belief you are essentially challenging their predecessors and elders, family members who preached it to them.
