assaulting police, kidnapping, terroristic threats, violating restraining orders... um... "short" prison sentence? the only way its short is if she is committed and they manage to straighten her out.
If you want to come up with an excuse for why it's a fairly short sentence, her lawyer might have negotiated a plea bargain to lesser crimes, or only some of the charges, with the rest being dropped in order to get the guilty plea and avoid putting OP and Lily through the misery of a full trial in which OP would have to testify. On top of that, the amount of time to which you're sentenced is often two to three times the amount you actually serve, if you were well behaved during your prison term. She could easily have pled guilty to attempted kidnapping and assault, had the other charges dropped, been sentenced to fifteen years and three years running concurrently (meaning she was only going to serve a maximum of fifteen years) and gotten out in five, by passing the parole board the first time.
Japanese story. Listen, in Japan MURDERERS regularly get 3 to 5 year sentences. A little old lady picking on her daughter in law and making a scene? Pshaw. OP should use the MONTHS the old dingbat is locked up to move away with her new family. I'm not joking. You never know what the crazy witch will do next. The short prison sentence will probably just make her madder and more dangerous. She really needs psychiatric care but this being Japan, she won't recieve it.
tragic story of a very sick woman. her illness hit those around her hard, but in the end mostly herself. let's hope she gets therapy in prison so maybe, just maybe her grandchild will have a caring and normal grandma. one can always hope
Her ass needs to put away for 20 years for attempted kidnapping, violating her restraining orders and anything else they can fine that she’s done. The people in these stories get away with too freaking much. From murder, kidnapping, embezzlement and any horrible acts.
Daniel would want his wife happy. There r normal living grandmothers & there r insane, crazy grandmothers & Jenny is one of these. She deserves a lengthy prison sentence.
