However Islam then has very much failed to deliver a message to Muslim men that women are not their property and are deserving of equal respect as human beings. I think it has failed to deliver this message because of I ts scripture. I went into the marriage very open to learning about the religion and very much rejecting people’s opinions who looked down on Islam or had a problem with it, putting them down to ignorance... Until the more I learned and the more I saw the more horrendous I found things. You are welcome to believe what you believe my Muslim friend. It's just certainly not a path for me. I was warned time and time again about Muslim men but chose to see the good and I proved everybody right and I will always have to live with the pain and terror that was inflicted upon me.

My Somalian Mus friend married her husband, who is Catholic, and they have children. She has been in the USA for many years. She didn't like Somalia men or the way they think, the way a lot of them would molest young girls and how her community would cover and sweep it under the rug... this came from her own mouth, and she was very against it. When she was about 8 yrs old, she experienced female genital mutilation. I remember she was upset while telling me about it. That little 8 yr old left home after waking up from passing out from the pain of the procedure and trekked all the way to her maternal grandma's home by herself, a few towns away. Luckily, for her, her grandmother was a strong woman who was also against the extreme Mus views. She grew up to be a strong and independent woman while being raised by her grandma. There were definitely aspects of the Mus faith that she was conflicted with. She wanted to invest money for her future, but it was against her religion. She didn't want to be a typical Mus housewife and definitely didn't want to be married to a broke Mus husband with no future, who waited on government handouts... again words from her. She's still a Mus, as she says there are good aspects of the religion and it is the extremists who make it bad.

@@AdamDylanMajor I have read enough of it, grew up in a country with 50/50 population, am a generally logical woman working in IT, not prone to thinking based on emotions, and i agree with him/her. I think the root cause is islam is the only big religion who stayed pretty much the same over a huge period of time, not trying to fit in the social norms of a more modern age. Now, i also think woke progressivism for the sake of being progressive is the same, dont get me wrong. But islam is the other extreme - 80 % of ur imams still live in year 1500. Its simply unfit for wast majority of modern world and people. And we who lived among Muslims, also know very well how moderate Muslims (which i have nothing against, i have many friends like this) are so often shunned by their own family and friends, told they need to shush etc, for questioning Quran. Crusaders knew that when it comes to nations, individuals are not the central figure that can decide for the whole. Fortunately, we have evolved past crusades, but we still have a few conflicts here and there, and that appeals to nationwide ethics, which determine how to wage war, like Torah teaches and Quran teaches. God is moving on both sides, and we'll see what God decides in the end. This is to teach us a lesson, but I agree that an individual needs to love his enemy individual, but when nations rise against nations, there's no issue but war. The Qur'an is simply a joke, as many educated persons have noted. The following quotes are taken from Shelton L. Smith’s book, “Islam: A Raging Storm”. 1. Thomas Carlyle: “…a wearisome, confused, jumble, crude, incondite” (28). 2. Salomon Reinach: “Declamation, repetition, puerility, a lack of logic and coherence…mediocre literature (28-29). 3. Edward Gibbon: “An incoherent rhapsody of fable, and precept, and declamation, which sometimes crawls in the dust and sometimes is lost in the clouds” (29). 4. McClintock and Strong: “…exceedingly incoherent and sententious, the book evidently being without any logical order of thought either as a whole or in it parts” (29). 5. Muslim scholar Dashti: “Unfortunately the Koran was badly edited and its contents are very obtusely arranged” (29). 6. The Concise Encyclopedia of Islam: “disjointed and irregular character” (29). 7. “It is simply the garbled collection of the philosophy and pronouncements of a troubled soul name Muhammad” (Smith, 29). And here is another gem, from Mark Twain: "This is a simple rule, and easy to remember. Moreover, Muhammad was one of the worst criminals in history. How anyone could consider him a prophet or want to imitate him is beyond me. As for the sunnah, tafsirs, and sharia manuals - SHOCKING!!! The Islamic core texts outside of the Qur'an are even worse than the Qur'an in promoting outright evil.

My friend, the Quran also denies the crucifixion of Jesus and claims that Allah made it appear to those watching that Jesus was on the cross. The crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ is one of the most important tenets of our faith. It's fine to read the Quran if you are wanting to understand more about Islamic theology and the arguments they use so as to sharpen your own knowledge, however you must not be fooled into thinking it complements the Christian faith.

He gave a supposed revelation from Allah saying that the intercession of their 3 bird goddesses is to be approved (or hoped for). He commanded Muslims to bow down and worship them and bowed down himself as well. He then claimed he had been tricked by Satan and had to change the verses, but the names of the pagan goddesses are still in the Quran Surah 53:19-20.

The Lord does expect His own to obey His commands but the plain is higher for the believer today than what we read in the Old Testament. The Lord deals with the heart and mind in the New Testament 👌

Omg i was with an Afghan guy last yr when i was 17 and he was '29' allegedly. ( looked like he was touching 40) and i can honestly say it was the worst time of life. Im blk ( just for context) and i hv never met someone who's brought so much unhappiness and destruction into my life in such a short amount of time. Most of his behaviours and sick fantasies were tied to the ca1t he follows but he also brought major shame to it Im currently dating an Afghan again hes so much better however out of all of these Afghans and muzlim guys ive been with there seems to always be a pattern of behaviour that correlates with their ' r3ligion '
