The Texans game is a guaranteed loss. They would have played a tough in-division game against the Steelers then have to fly to Texas on a very short week to play the Texans. Assuming they have clinched a playoff spot, I actually think they should sit most of their key starters (even Lamar) and just take the L. NFL would definitely not be happy as this is a Netflix game and a major primetime game. Honestly, look for the players to do something like this just as a response to the NFL. Player safety should be important.
I don't care what the rest days average out to. Stacking the last 3 out 4 games games to end the season like that is total CRAP!!! everyone knows it's not the best team going into playoffs most of the time its the healthiest and that right there is a total setup for injury
I don't like three games in ten days but the Texans also have three games on the same dates. The Dolphins at home, on the road vs. the Chiefs then the Ravens at home. I bet their fans aren't happy either.
They know the new media darling CJ Stroud needs all the help he can get to beat the Ravens so the NFL is trying to help him get a Christmas day win over Lamar.
Having 3 games in 10 days at the end of the year might be balanced out by a chart but it does nothing to help them when it comes to the playoffs especially if they don't have a bye week. It also makes it easier for key players to get hurt. I don't like it and if it's supposed to be helpful then why not have 4 games in 14 or 15 days. If key players get hurt in this short span you will see how stupid it is to compare it to a chart. I'm with the players as they're the ones who know how things would be playing 3 games in 10 days especially when it's hard enough to play 2 games in 5 days. Charts don't play in the games but people do.
Thank you if the players are saying it then it's obviously not fair that chart don't mean sh!t. Not only do they play 3 games in 10 days 1 of those games is an away Christmas game that is fucked up.
That net rest means nothing when you have 3 games in 10 days at the end of the season especially with our injury history. Also that’s going into the playoffs. Football is a physical game idk if you ever played before but that’s a big much
There is no rationale to support 3 games in 10 days 🤷🏾♂️ I’m sorry. It's easy for someone who doesn't have to play this violent sport 3 times in 10 days.
Iron sharpens iron so who cares. A tough schedule is what primes you for a SB run. This schedule will be what wins it all in 2024. Dont be surprised ifhte NFL makes some adjustments to this if needed andwarranted
From what I've seen the Jets have a crunched week 3 games starting off the season and at least the Chiefs, Bears and Steelers also have the same thing along with the Ravens. NFL is really trying to milk primetime this year.
Apparently no one can do math. Its an 11 day span. If the 15th is day 1, the 25th would be day 11. Sunday Gameday(1), Monday(2), Tuesday(3), Wednesday(4), Thursday(5), Friday(6), Saturday Gameday(7), Sunday(8), Monday(9), Tuesday(10), Wednesday Gameday(11).
How are they going to have games on multiple days of the week and always have six days between games. All the players like more money but they don’t want to do,the things that generate that extra money.
They have a first-place schedule. Do you or anybody complaining really understand how that works? Quick class for those who don't. First, every team plays 6 in division games. ok? Then The Ravens and AFC North teams Play a whole NFC division each year, obviously One every 4 years. The rotation is AFC North vs NFC East this year. Last year was the NFC West. Thats 10 games. We also rotate playing another AFC division every 3 years. This year is the WEST, like last year we played the AFC South teams. Next year we will play the AFC East teams again and so on. That sums up to 14 games. So, since we are already playing all 4 teams in the West including KC, 2 more games will come from the other 2 division champs: Bills and Texans. First plays first, second plays second which is why the 2nd place Browns will face Jags and Miami this year, the 2 second place teams in their division. 3rd plays 3rd, Steelers play Jets and Indy. and so on. So really 16 games are set up on this schedule, regardless of teams, every year based on previous season standings and rotating play between divisions that are set in stone. Every team then has a final and 18th game against a select opposite conference team based on standing. This year the AFC North plays the NFC South in these games, But just one game each team. We Play the Bucs because they were first place like us. Browns play Saints, Steelers play Falcons, and fourth place Cincy plays fourth place Carolina, New England, and Tennessee. Last year we played the NFC North in these games hence us playing Detroit (second place schedule from 2022} and Cincy played Vikings in first place schedule from 2022. Next year, we will battle the NFC West in these 4 specific games. So.....18 games: 6 Interdivisional, 4 vs Rotating AFC divisions, 4 vs Rotating NFC divisions, 2 vs AFC opponents from squads not in your interdivisional games that year. and a final 18th matchup vs Rotating NFC division where last year standings create matchup. Seems confusing, but easy once you grasp the rotation models for matchups. THE LEAGUE HAS ZERO CONTROL OVER WHO PLAYS WHO IN EACH SEASION BECAUSE THESE SCHEDULES ARE LOCKED IN EVERY YEAR BASED ON ROTATIONS IVE DESCRIBED BASED SOLELY ON EACH INDIVIDUAL DIVISIONS' FIRST THROUGH FOURTH PLACE SCHEDULES. THE LEAGUE DEFINITELY HAS FINAL DECISIONS ON EACH MATCHUP'S LOCATION, DATE AND TIME OF DAY, BUT NOT WHO PLAYS WHO. Hope I wasn't too confusing, and I can write out specific examples of how this rotating NFL schedule operates if need be.
Of course they don't. Because the people who said he should be a wr. Are he not smart enough. Are not Quarterbackly enough. People scare to say it.the truth is the truth.
I know I'm late for this party, but I hope after the dust settled, Ravens fans realize that 9 teams altogether have 3 games in 10 day stretches this year. Also, we have the most rest days during the year ever in the history of the squad. Also, the NFL schedule is set up very strictly AND ROTATED DIVISION TO DIVISION EVERY YEAR BASED ON TEAMS FINAL STANDINGS IN THEIR DIVISION. its ROTATED YEARLY AND THE FIRST THROUGH FOURTH PLACE SCHEDULES DETERMINE WHO PLAYS WHO. i LAID IT OUT BELOW REPLYING TO SOMEONE SAYING THE LEAGUE PURPOSELY GAVE US IMMENSE SCHEDULE. LISTEN UP PEOPLE, THE LEAGUE HAS ZERO INFLUENCE ON WHOM PLAYS WHO, ZERO!!!! THE SCHEDULING DOES! NOW ABOUT ALL THE MATCHUPS THROUGHOUT THE SEASON AND THEIR LOCATIONS, DATES AND TIMES......YES!!! THE LEAGUE HAS 100% CONTROL OVER ALL THAT.
They are trying to railroad us, but we will show them. The Ravens will be 13-3 by that last game, and hopefully, (best case scenario) we will have a 1st round bye and rest starters after the 1st quarter of that last game vs the Browns. Worst case we will have to play our starters the full game to get the W inorder to get that 1st round bye.
All of Baltimore News in the country knows that the NFL don't like the Ravens Shady play calling forever Shady reps forever three games in 10 days in a tough time of the season unheard of you can't find me cuz I don't work for you
No need to find fault with the schedule imo, it’s the type of schedule that builds a championship team if you can survive it, just like our road to our 2012 Superbowl season, we beat the so called dynasty teams and players in their house and schmacked them around, A true Champion will impose their will on you when it’s all on the line, the chiefs are the standard for that, Baltimore needs to learn to consistently man the f Up in the playoffs or they just yapping
It's bullshit , we get the worst lineup every year , all your benefits don't weigh out if our players get hurt! Especially if their out for the season!
I'm sorry but 3 games with in 10 days is insane. The chart might say their benefiting but that stretch is near the end of the season for 1, game plan will be short, and they would have to get a 1st round bye to at least get their bodies right for the playoffs and you know our track record for injuries. And of all things we play pit doing that time. That's going to be brutal.
Shut up Bobby 3 games in 10 days is insane, 2 games in 10 days is overkill. Plus, the start of the season, they were trying to take the Ravens out and all the Primetime games are away mostly, it was a dirty schedule and guys know it. That is why RO said what he said.
Net rest isn’t a be all end all because it depends on who and when you’re playing your toughest opponents! The 3 games in 10 days can destroy their season point blank period! It eliminates the so calledNet Rest Days because of the late Bye week!
Put yourself in the players seat. How can you not see what the was all about. Deny it all you want when you don't have to get out there and play. Smh @ the shade NFL
They'd be better off playing bench players in one of those games. If you're comfortably in the playoffs then seeding isn't worth risk of injury to your starters.
