How do you know he was actually "invited"? It was a public wake. The other presidents stayed away out of RESPECT for the officer and his family and collegues. They knew the family neither needed or wanted the extra press presence their appearances would have brought. As religious as Trump supposedly is, I'm surprised to hear that he didn't offer up any prayers (or a donation) for the family. Just the usual generic soundbytes and situational advantage that only benefits himself.

My sincere condolences to the Diller family. My older brother was a career police officer, and he would mention how the criminals had bigger weapons than the LEOs. If Trump is attending, it is a political calculation.
It’s terrible that this had to happen to this poor man and his family. This is partially because of these soft on crime laws that allowed this to happen. Trump is a class act. Paying respects for this fallen officer and his family, meanwhile Biden is nowhere to be found. Vote these people out so we can stop senseless murders like this…

R.i.p to the officers that lost their lives on January 6th, not no officer harassing citizens making unlawful traffic stops. He was shot by a passenger, not the driver. As a passenger there is no reason to interact with a passenger in a vehicle.
If an officer stops you he has a right to know who is in the vehicle. Read the laws! Nothing to hide or not a criminal you're usually on your way in minutes. Try it!
All of the officers they say died on January 6th, died either from natural causes or suicide. And yes, the police can ask a passenger to show identification.
