There are many unanswered questions. As far as the number of Secret Service agents available, I would think that with this being an election year, budgets would be increased to ensure there is enough coverage when needed. Also, the former President with the nomination, although not official as of last week, should have as much protection as the current president.

I keep on hearing they say she has failed, but the way I see it all the way from Africa is that she was appointed by Biden and it seems she almost succeeded in eliminating his.... If they just postponed the event for 10 to 15 minutes and focused on the threat, things would have gone very differently. I normally roll my eyes at conspiracy theorists, but this one seems to have so much incompetence that it looks more like willful negligence by both the SS and local LE.

Frankly the ludicrosity of the decisions or lack of appropriate decisions regarding the safety of Donald Trump & every person who was at the rally defies common sense. My mind is very strategic & logical & this doesn't cut it. I worry that other world leaders & their proxies are just shaking their heads. This is a poor way to stave off possible terror attacks too. It screams unnreadiness. I'd like to see the director of the Secret Service step down & for there to be a higher callibar of training across all agencies. Beyond that, I am thankful Donald Trump escaped this assassination attempt. However, and at the same time, my heart is broken for those who are injured & for Corey Comperatore's wife, family & loved ones. I do not want any of these rally attendees to be forgotten 🙏 What Corey did to shield his wife & daughter was heroic. I am keeping David Dutch & James Copenhaver in my thoughts & prayers. At this point I am not sure how they are doing.

This bugs me 🤔 The kid and the first 3 shots came towards T from a 3:00 position. The 2 anti-sniper's shots went straight at the kid on the 'other' sloped rooftop. So how & why do shots hit 3 people in the stands behind T ? ( Killing one, another in a hospital with a medically-induced a coma etc etc. ) Not one sketch of the incident shows bullet lines going to the by-standers. This makes no sense to me.

It makes sense.... you need to do some research, look for animated videos showing the layout and line up, go on Google Earth and look at an arial view and see the line of trajectory from the building he was on and you'll see how it happened. Plus, I was there that day- it makes sense.

I watched this live and sent in a question on a super chat, but it did not get addressed. The news reporters said that the shooter, who is registered as a Republican, also donated to a liberal PAC. Another RU-vid channel said that the person who donated was a 69-year-old man by the same name. The shooter, who would have been only 17, was not old enough to donate. The news reports continue to say the donation was made by the shooter. Is there any way to verify this or resolve these conflicting reports?

As Rooke Officer at the Pentagon, I stood an outside post with a Secret Service agent while President Bush was at the Pentagon after 9/11. Larry Johnson on Judge Napolitano said that most of Trump's regular staff was given the day off for the event. That's a huge concern for several reasons. Opens many doors for a shooter. There appears to be multiple flaws that make one question the entire event.

This is such an interesting discussion among LE professionals. I’m former military, I did administrative work (personnel) not LE or anything close, but we are all trained to notice things - the person who is doing something completely different than everyone else. I’m in a different generation - older - and my husband and I are watching this together and he was military for over 20 years - Intel officer (06). My husband wondered aloud why all the guys didn’t throw rocks at the and yell at him - when we were in high school, the boys wouldn’t have let this happen. People seem to be overly relying on LE - but they are not always able or receptive to the communication. I’m in Texas and Uvald is right down the road. All the parents were trying to get in to save their children while something like 200 police officers stood in the hallway, kept parents outside, and even tazed a few of them, handcuffed a lady, and prevented them from going in. So, I’m sorry, but something has changed in the culture of law enforcement - and in the culture of masculine young men. Corey gave his life to save his wife and daughter - a masculine male. Even with that being the case you still need exterior security! Especially when you know the roof has a direct line of sight to the Principal! We had exterior security at our Police Station in the 90's

I was a small town peace officer. Even I know a huge event like this communications between law enforcement would have been addressed. Okay people we will all be working off of channel 3.

Pittsburgh police which would have assisted in butler and PSP were dispatched to the city to assist. Leaving local assist thin. Plus Kamala was in Philly so that put PSP resources thinner to assist.

@DutyRon Radio encryption was also an issue during the shooting at the Super Bowl celebration after the parade here in Kansas City Missouri. I listened to the archived scanner feed and one of the emergency responders mentioned the issue of being unable to communicate because some of the different assisting area agencies were on encryption. It's a serious issue in my opinion.

As Charlie said SS agents are embedded near or next to local pd for a reason. And sometimes we would share radios with them. They would sign for them and return at end of shift

@@DutyRon I don't think KCPD has anywhere near the budget that NYPD has to be able to do that. :) Maybe our Chiefs football team owner could make a donation to PD and purchase more radios so they can keep covering all their Super Bowl parades and events. Lol. 😉

I feel SS did know he was there. Hear me out. First ya watch the video and the snipers were looking thru the scope. As soon as the one sniper backed away from his scope the criminal started firing. Then the snipers took him out. Now someone kindly explain to me if the snipers were not aware of the criminal then how were they able to take him out so quickly. I am sorry I just find this hard to believe. And not trying to be political cause I don’t care is ya r red or blue. Makes me no never mind. But Knowing the hatred between Trump and Biden and Biden recent statement of “bullseye” there ain’t no way if I were Trump I would trust a SS that was picked by Biden. And I would say the same things if everything was reversed. Trump has the money get people ya know and trust. My theory. These days ya can’t trust anyone or anything ya don’t know. Heck sometimes even those known shouldn’t be trusted. Just being honest.

One of the three women seemed to do ok. One was either one of the “influencers” the director let’s play agent or the chick is an Agent Gracie Hart (post makeover) wannabe. The 3rd, I’ve taken defensive handgun classes and learned how to draw and holster my weapon with different clothes on. And that was a civilian class not the continued training the SS goes through. She struggled holstering her weapon big time
