Nah they will, animation is so ass in the later episodes. Who tf gave this studio this masterpiece bruh, should've gave it to the one who does sports anime, Production IG smh.
as a former soccer player who played for a majority of my life, the message blue lock sends is something I NEEDED back then. i would hinder myself because i the thoughts and opinions of others. i wouldn't make plays i thought i could do because i was worried i would be called out for messing up or not passing etc, which would sometimes end up in my teammates who i knew were worse than me messing up. but if i watched this show and tried to gain more of an ego, i would've been a better player. i would've pushed myself further instead of being content with being held back by my team. of course it's a team sport but my point is it's ok to be selfish sometimes.
Same, I was a really good dribbler, it was easy to get into goal scoring situations but due to fear of losing the ball or over thinking I’d either get in a good goal scoring position and look for a pass or I’d not even attempt to dribble and make safe passes
@@uchiwamadara4614 yeah but blue lock misses the point entirely. where haikyuu shows that the writer actually played the sport, blue lock is the opposite. absolutely none of the characters in blue lock would ever make it professional and the writer looks like he's never actually played or watched the sport in his life. the best teams of all time have been teams, not a few people catering to the selfish whims of a couple arrogant fools.
Okay! It’s LIT! I love watching reactors who have played sports watch Blue Lock. This was a surprise favorite of mine when it first came out in anime. Looking forward to seeing you all enjoy this ride.
I didn’t feel sad about Kira because ultimately he already had a strong ego that he hid behind pretenses. I mean in his match against Isagi he scored by himself and after that when he met up with Isagi he told Isagi he would love to receive his passes, meaning he acknowledged himself as more of a striker than Isagi. In a way I find that ending fitting because it’s like Isagi telling him that he is a striker, shooting him instead of passing to him.
Wait really? Maybe i shouldnt watch it then cause someone told me if i enjoyed haikyuu i would like bluelock but what i enjoy in haikyuu its precisely the formula of personal growth and team work working together and just the whole sportmanship aspect "we're playing against you but its a game and we all love the sport"
Oh, now we’re REALLY locked in. I love this anime, because sometimes it’s exhausting to be humble. We all have egos, we all want to win, and this anime shows that there’s no problem with that. Also, some of Ego’s philosophy can be applied off the field, just my own personal take away from the anime.
The Pics of the React Pack back when they were puppies warmed my heart😊😊 We might need to start calling Dani; Dani Messi, or Dani Neymar out here😅😅. I hope her soccer expertise shows up in future episodes.
Yay! I hope you guys like this football/soccer show! My only basis for soccer/football before this show was Inazuma 11. Which is also a football anime/soccer anime. Since you guys have soccer backgrounds/football backgrounds, this should be a fun reaction. Looking forward to more of your childhood soccer stories/ childhood football stories as the series goes on. Lol. Love you guys, sorry for dragging the football/soccer bit. Haha
noel noa is not a real life player but he is inspired by real players, the author said that he was based off luka modric and antonio griezmann, and this is the case for most characters in the anime, there play styles and even personalities are based off real players.
It’s funny that after the anime came out Japan became a good team. Most of there national team players play in Europe and they even have a premier league star with Mitoma. Also they just beat Germany 4-1 yesterday in GERMANY.
Hey I'm almost positive those mics should be flipped around so the buttons face you guys. You can check the manual for the exact polar pattern, to see which area should be facing your mouth. Otherwise great!
One famous manager said that offense wins you games but defense wins you titles and trophies and that is very true everyone just usually gravitates to strikers since it is the position with most glory stereotypically. Awesome reaction btw :3
Funny to see them worried about teamwork, high school tournaments and nationals, nah. This anime doesn't think small like that, we're worried about being the best striker and winning THE WORLD CUP! 😎
fun fact: when making the anime adaptation they had to censor some of the things said, like at 14:20 when ego said "lock off" he said "fuck off" in the manga
I loved the message of the anime, I really needed it, something different from all that common sense of anime, one of you said you thought Ryosuke would become Isagi's best friend, and no, it's about winning, and it makes perfect sense, losing their dreams (it would be like a life or death situation) is what makes them evolve and awaken. I don't like sports anime, but this one is totally different.
The cool thing about this show is we've seen a bunch of sports media, be it episodic series or movies, be it anime or live action, be it fictional or based on the real world that have "teamwork makes the dreamwork" kind of message. Of course in a team sport, that's the logical message to be delivered. But we're in the medium of anime! Where stories can be about teenagers that can morph into skyscraper tall titans. Of course there's still a place for stories like Haikyuu. But there's also a place for squid games football/soccer maniacs.
I find it funny that y’all been watching anime for so long but didn’t know about “anime seasons”. I recently started anime and I just learned about it too
Ego isn’t talking about a team mindset, he’s talking about a strikers mindset, instead of spending all your time learning team play and strategy involving your whole team, he wants to train strikers to excel individually and be greedier on the field
Playing barefoot is actually feels better, when i was a kid, i played football at the tar road in front of my house, it's not that bad, sepak takraw ball is much harder
To answer the question at 14:58, yes, are correct lol. Because of censorship for the anime. Anime: Lock off. Manga: F*ck off. Another fun fact, Ego Jinpachi here in the anime calls them "diamonds in rough", in the manga he refers them as " Unpolished gems" which I found kinda disheartening when I started the anime, since it sounds a lot cooler imo.😅
The concept of this show, egoism, has an actual study on it and how it affects athletes. Not just soccer but almost every top athlete has a much higher ego than average players. Michael jordan, tom brady, heck even team friendly players like wayne gretzky at the end of the day would say "i want to win".
Team z: Isagi Yoichi, Bachira Meguru, Chigiri Hyoma, Kunigami Reinsuke, Imamura, Igarashi, Kuon, Raichi, Gagamaru, Naruhaya, Lemon. The blue fire in Isagi's eyes and most characters in this show will have are called "aura eyes".
It seems that the only countries that use the word soccer are Japan, America, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. When I watch reaction videos of people from Europe and South America, it's funny to see some people look unconvinced by the word soccer.
