Taiwan hasn't even declare independence yet bro. Lai always say he will "work for independence" in his political career, but if you are independent, why do you need to work for it? the entire idea of being a "台獨工作者" only make sense if you are not independent. and honestly philippino don't understand politic, if you cross China by support seperatism in their country, have you consider what would happen if China return the favor in kind and support seperatism in Philippines? Philippines seperatism problem is way bigger than China, it does not make logical sense from Philippine national interest to enter into a confrontation of supporting seperatism. there is a reason why the official philippines government is hardcore support for the one china policy, because this is the only way to keep China support for Manila against the southern seperatist. Philippines is literally using chinese weapons to fight the rebels now, does it really make sense to lose china support on mindanao over a few uninhabited island? philippinos really need to understand what their real national security is, it not China, what could break philippine apart is muslim seperatism.
