Many unregulated bodabodas, Chaotic matatus, Makeshift umbrella hawkers & unplanned mabati kiosks in kilimani streets are early signs that this middle class neighborhood will soon become another of Nairobi's Slum. The Solution is ORDER !!
Classic African problem. The inability to do any meaningful maintenance of development structures. There is no point of this neighborhood having such beautiful structures without maintenance and basic zoning rules that would make the place beautiful and organized. What a shame.
No proper planning at all; very expensive buildings with no paving outside, when it rains flooding and mud are inevitable. I think the city government can do better.
This part of Nairobi has declined in the past 5 years. Nairobi is still the best capital city in the east & Central African region but due to the rampant corruption in Kenya, much of the infrastructure is neglected.
