FORMER World Record Run Diablo 1 Sorcerer Any % (Glitchless, HC) 

The reason why i lowered my HP twice below my max HP, is a bug in the game that allows you to recover from hits without being stunned.

@@periachi4961 i dont think so, since all you have to do is get your hp lower than your level (if im not mistaken) so no trickery involved

Yes it is a glitch. It should not work like that. The speedrunners will justify anything tho.

What are you talking about? Mana shield makes all your damage taken go towards Mana instead of life. That's how it works in d1.

@@DjZephy You are right!. But there are many bugs around regading MS. Most known one is - you are not stunnable at all, if damage you take is more than hitpoints you have. People intentionally lower their HP, to make sure this bug occur. Using this - you can run away from any damage source without stun. Just walk on by. This bug abusing is one of the most obvious way of cheating in Diablo, just after item duplication.

It was at the time of this run.

The one that only takes 3 minutes 12 seconds uses glitches, and is also tool assisted ("luck manipulation" by changing system clock to force specific level and item generation).

This one isnt glitchless either
