I LOVE to see somebody who knows barely more about HOI4 than I do, so refreshing to see content from somebody kinda just goofing around and learning as they go
Hello! Just some things to point out next time you try to do a Rome run: 1. In the Mare Nostrum portion of the tree, you have Iberian Protection which allows you to puppet/have a wargoal on both Spain and Portugal 2. Idk if you actually did this in this game, but you can build on your puppets to reduce their autonomy 3. Fun fact: If you decide that you want to suffer for long period of time/if you are just unlucky and need extra manpower and factories as well as some buffs (not sure if this still works or if it's just for an early patch), you can become both Greater Italy *then* become Rome by restoring the Papal States. You can do this by going down the monarchist route and strengthening the papacy, and once the balance of power is at 65%, you can restore the Papal States. At the end of that branch of the focus tree, you also unlock the Mare Nostrum decision while not being locked out of doing Towards a Greater Italy. Not really the most efficient way to go though
Nice video, you're a very valid alternative to feedbackgaming or bittersteel, and your content of making A-Z with formable nations Is very original. Keep going💯
HB: puppets Yugoslavia and does the funny France/UK strat without any resistance Also HB: invades Taiwan with a single paratrooper division, knowing it has like 15 soft attack _They had us in the first half, not gonna lie_
You can form roman empire in 1936/early 1937 but you have to rush focus tree that actually make it possible to form roman empire and you have to leave ethiopia to bypass 3 focuses
@@Аллер-д6з nah, I meant the tsardom, which would in fact be called Russia. Also Soviet Union and Russia is often used interchangeably even if it is technically incorrect
Basically they have a national spirit that lowers their surrender limit quite a bit, so you only need to capture around half(?) of their victory points to finish them, way less than other nations.
You should have played till you could click all the buttons and core the additional territory and then released the rest of the world as your puppets to show how the world would look with max cores Rome.
