Sieges sometimes go backwards when attrition or Diesease Outbreak siege event eat enough of a cannon to drop below a full stack and make you get less bonus from cannon amount

If you have PU\Vassal in Italy\Iberia Italy will be released and Integrate all your Subjects there. If Spain already exist,than Castile will be released by Act of Crown

@@AtlantiansGamingyour vassals get released (they come free) not as multiple vassals put one in italy as italy and one in iberia as spain(castille if spain has already formed) is what i understood

Irish run sounds fun. Thanks for doing this next step video. England seems to be my most played nation in the game and I started a new run where I just decided to chill and play tall. So I dumped all the continental states on day 1 (except Calais), took Ireland and subjected Scotland really fast. Now I’m chilling, focusing on dev and economy. I might steal Norway and Holland as vassals so they can colonize for me. It might get boring after a while but it’s fun right now.

I got my very first and only WC by Angevin by~1700, best game ever, but also got luck with very early random PU with Castille and forced PU with Portugal later, so I didn't get a shnapps about colonizing, as the only colonizators were my subject and I let them deal with new world :p Especially, that Ireland, Portugal Castile AND Spain as PU (Spain formed by the mission) got colonial ideas :)

Whilst the mission does allow you to complete by either becoming HRE emperor or dismantling, the achievement can only be earned by completing the mission whilst you are the emperor. Just a heads up. Also, for the 2 unions on Spain/Italy, it will automatically integrate any subjects you have in those regions as part of forming those nations. I had gained a PU over Naples through the Provence mission tree (after vassalising/integrating them earlier), and after getting the 15 provinces in the north, and clicking the button, Italy formed from both the Northern parts and Naples, which was a pleasant surprise. In your case, this would save you points for Florence, as they don't count towards the 15 provinces you need anyway.

I well into this trap also and had to restart as I was anglican and could not be arsed to convert into protestant. Staying catholic and looking where the league war goes is the best option.

Funny that you mention this Ludi, I just play the game is France and I actually got the centralization and later even a union with England over Portugal by GOING BANKRUPT. After getting 7 diplo techs behind, I integrated the British empire my various rulers from the de Medici family have been expanding France in the Mediterranean and in Castile, Portugal, while avoiding a Super Austria-Bohemia-Hungary with an ally in Russia, and now that we reclaimed the holy land, our former ally in the Ottomans attacked Poland and took land from both of us. Catholicism destroyed the Protestant reformation also. Anyway, say hi to the missus for me.

I swore I would never come back to EU4 because it was too addictive for me but a new mission tree for Byzantium would convince me to come back (especially if we get an actual mission tree for the reformed Roman empire).

It is said that your spanish and italian subject do not get cores on the area. I know it would be op af but it is weird seing spain not have cores or claims on Iberia. Also you sometimes inherit your junior partners if they are too small when your ruler dies. That only happens after 50 years but you lose the +1 prestige from the irish crown.

Couldn’t you have done a reconquest for the cores? Every time I’ve done the Burgundian inheritance when the emperor demands the lowlands I just immediately declare war for reconquest and get almost no AE for reclaiming all the lowland

If you're able to form the Angevin Empire in the first place, the coal issue will probably be less of a concern for other players lol. Plus, most MP games I've played generally don't last that late into the game. But, you do make an interesting point.

The fuzzed upp achivemen... drop my angevine game yesterday since I went witth angevine religion... and the religious war never happenend. So could not become emperor for the rest of the game. If the war had triggered it would have ended in protestant victory thoo, since ottomans, spain & and big muscovy supported the protestant (and me), largest catholic were 6 provinces. Lessons learned for next rum, dont go angevine. Must end the religious war in draw or you cant get the achivment... Best to go protestant and become the warleader.

Form England -> Form the Northsea Empire -> Angevin Empire -> United Kingdom (which sounds more like United Empire if you ask me).

I don't like the italy and Spain missions because they allow you to form nations without having the actual requirements to form these nations and when you do that you block real italian and Spanish nations from forming italy or Spain and that doesn't make sense. On the other hand the mission for Ireland requires you to conquer all of it, so why not make italy and Spain missions a little harder
