I hear you! It is stressful.

Honestly, for me the MP4-X is a lot easier. That race has finally become easy for me. My biggest problem is losing concentration. I can hit 100 KM every single time. Just the other day I went over 500, lost my concentration, Mr. breaking point, and drove right into a wall 😅. I was trying to do something special but I have been unable to complete it in the game. Also, I’m very low on time in the next few days so it probably won’t happen.

That’s true. I think there’s even a degree of muscle memory with that car. It’s such an interesting car because you can oversteer it at almost every point if you want to. It has literally taken me years to learn how far I can push it. In fact, in the last couple of months, I figured out where I can push it a little bit more which really surprised me. I think it’s the most realistic car in the game because of how easy you can lose control. I had to retrain myself with this car so as to avoid contact 100% of the time. I was pretty sloppy in the past which meant I was usually getting damaged during the first 100 km. Now I’m driving it much more like you were an actual car where you really don’t want to make contact with anything. … not normal for me in this game.😅

I’ve been working on it. I don’t have the preferred car but I’m very close to group B. You can blast that chicane pretty fast.

From where on the track do you start the run, exactly?

​@@mcvin-iosracing at the very beginning of turn 4. Which is the start of the 2nd chicane at this track. Then he goes flat out all the way till the last corner somehow and hits 384

I gave spa quite a few tries and I couldn’t do it in the F1. I got there a few times, but was never able to keep it going. I can do it and they R3 esports challenger. I didn’t catch the whole race, just highlights. I’ve cheered for Bottas for a while, but that might mainly because I took so much heat for our how I pronounced his name once 😅.

Everything is on the phone using tilt controls.

A great option for you might be Tilt C. It was created for one-handed players. There are two versions: * Tilt C has brakes high, gas low * Tilt C (flipped) is the opposite. You’ll have to learn a new way of driving to use it, having one thumb a bit higher than the other. However it’s a good substitute. If you switch to it for 100% of your racing then you’ll probably get used to it quicker.

Of course I've tested both the options of tilt c, but they don't suit to me. For playing comfortably, I'm lying on my back, head slightly lifted with a pillow under my head, where both the lower corners of my iPad are resting within my hand's palms to avoid slipping due to gravity. So my hands positioned, my thumbs are not long enough to reach to the upper zone of the tilt layout. It simply doesn't work solid.

That makes sense, not really possible on a larger device. I used to sometimes run tilt A when I needed a break, but then I would get slower and start to have mistakes. Also, the tires can dig in when you’re off track and cause all sorts of trouble!

I’ve learned a lot in the years as I’ve been able to deal with them and was surprised by a lot of it. The following reply is based on that. Sorry, but I’ll tell you right up front that there’s no way they’re going to change it. For 1 I’m not really sure that they can. They’ve never answered the question on whether this was on purpose, or by accident that disability even exists. For 2 and more importantly, if they make changes there it will actually wreck endless endurance races everywhere else. Let’s say they make the bots even faster after the perpetual point so that they have like a 10% or 15% boost… That instantly makes the most used versions impossible. You can’t actually fix things in one race and have it stay there. They have to be very careful what they adjust. Bot behaviour in one part of the game changes it elsewhere. Example. In 2019 when the Formula One cars were added they changed bot behaviour so that the bot cars could race side-by-side longer. This had huge unintended consequences all over the game and actually took a couple of years of minor adjustments here and there to fix it. What happens in that Silverstone race is that you’re actually getting ahead of where the bots are created. They can’t change the creation point because there is no specific creation point on the track. The best thing is to only cut the small chicane unless you are getting in trouble time wise. At least you’re getting paid for the race! One of the glitches we had years back was that the game would crash at around lap 28 and you got nothing. I was able to help them fix that just by providing a lot of data. That was much easier as it affected every single race not just one.

A lot of practice and a lot of trial and error. I’ve made MANY mistakes, slid off track MANY times and crashes a lot. Takes a while to learn the limits.

The bots will be the same there, it’s based on series. so crazy fast after car 42. So then at Spa there just aren’t enough cuts to make up that difference. Spa is very difficult in every car except… the Lancia LC2. For some reason that’s not hard. I did it with only 3’s for upgrades originally. There are several that would be doable, but none of them pay very good at all. In fact, the pay is pretty horrible so it’s just not worth your time.

I don’t know why they made the contrast change, everything got darker. They never explained that.

yeah, it’s pretty crazy! It’s definitely in Real Racing 3, might not be there in real life. Mind you in real life they often don’t have those big dangerous barriers. Drivers would be penalized for cutting. In Real Racing 3 you are penalized during time trials if you cut that.

Why?? There are already games that do that. We don’t need every single game to be the same. Also, this is about earning currency. I’m also really fast with all tires on track.😃

No no, you’re missing the point. This is just about earning your daily currency. It certainly would be cheating in real life racing. I wouldn’t do this in real life because it would kill me 😅. It’s also a horrible disservice to such an incredible car. I’m fast all on track as well. This trick gets you to the SUPER difficult bots and is actually supported by EA. They put videos like this that I’ve done in the past right in the game.

For 2022 you want Ferrari, Red Bull or Mercedes. They won’t hit the highest top speeds but they will produce the fastest lap times. In time trials those are the top cars. Exact same cost for all.

Thanks for the heads up. I have to just remove it then. It keeps changing all the time, gets frustrating. I can’t go back and change it in prior videos all the time, especially with hundreds of videos.
