Whenever I see someone post a picture of a set of knurled darts combined with alloy stems or maybe even spinners it's almost a 100% certainty what country they're from. 😁
About 20 years ago I would only have purchased a set of darts if they had knurl on them. Since finding this channel I have flip flopped the other way. I have a number of sets of darts from Darts Clearance and none of them have knurl. I prefer multi rings, micro multi rings, and razor grip personally. I have 2 sets of the FST180 darts and love them both. Neither of my sets have knurl and I won't be buying these for that reason. I'm sure it is still a super nice set of darts for those into knurling. What I really liked was the Winmau Fusion flight system at least the awesome color of them. I have seen some people complaining about them on redit darts due to snapping off at the base of the shaft after a bounce out. I don't have any personally but I would not like that to happen to me. I'm a Condor Axe guy personally. Great review as always!
Thanks. It's strange with the Winmau Fusion. I've read so many bad things about them, mostly on the review video I did on them. Fins that completely fall off is a common one. I've been using them as much as possible and I haven't experienced anything like that at all.
I used to throw knurled dart world piranha darts back in the early 90’s. Knurling is not a bad thing but not for everyone. Nice barrels and great review!
Hello WWD, I do have gen 2, and like them, I have to agree about their silver points and how they don't stick to the board. Great video, as always. 👍🇨🇦
I'm a dutch darts player and I've used the harrows assassin's 25 gram darts for ages and I am now using the Barneveld gen 4 darts for over a year. Both knurled grip darts 👍
30 years ago I threw an 18g with a knurled section. It definitely helped me with finger placement but it was so long ago I fail to recall whether I like the feeling or not. I've recently picked up some Winmau Sniper 02 with the rear scallop to try and make my grip more consistent.
Nice looking set, im not a fan of just knurl but a ring knurl combo like this i can get behind, i still have and throw the gen 2, picked them up after your initial review, if the nodor and skipjack had a baby it would probably be the perfect board 😅 great review as always. 👍
I think the knurl's in the wrong place for me - there needs to be some at the back as a reference point for me to grip them - but for those they'll suit you can't go wrong for the money. They look a nice set of darts. I can see why they score as high as they have. 🙂
I was going to say not all of us use knurled darts, but literally the two sets in my case have knurling! I don't grip on it, but sheesh. Designa Stiletto 23g, and Designa 23g firestorms. Sheesh.
im in the process of getting a new board ive been recommended a g3plus but i like the look of the aspar for rotating aesthetics but i cant decide because a board is a long time purchase for me ,any recommendations ,or which out of the two ,or should i just get the latest most expensive winmau
Hi. I'm torn between unicorn t95 type 1 dart set and the damon heta natural silver dart set. I'll either get both or choose one. :) I'm tempted to buy both, but there are other things I'll buy. Which one can I choose? Damon Heta is available as 21g 25g on the double top website. T95 is available in 22g and 24g. I also saw Damon Heta 23g on other sites. I currently have the Dennis Priestley Gold 24g dart set. I couldn't decide. I would also like to get your opinion. I'm thinking of replacing the points with target storm nano 30mm.
