I think you both missed the point and also misinformed about certain aspects. I was VERY pissed off when this game first came out. I got a refund, as did MANY people. So where did you get the "I'd be pissed off if I paid $60 and no refund comment from?" Anyone who wanted a refund got a refund. The point of this video was to signify how game developers SHOULD act when the general public doesn't respond well to a release. Hello Games made a mistake, and they went above and beyond to fix their mistake for $0 and they didn't point the finger at anyone. These other developers that try and justify their shitty anti-consumer behavior make me want to puke. I think motivation is also a huge factor in this. I think it's clear that any mistakes that were made on Hello Games part were completely unintentional. Sean Murray is a genius, but he's not a mastermind manipulator. The dude is an awkward nerd! You compare that to other developers where it could be any more deliberate with their shadiness. They do it right in front of our faces, and when they get called out on it, they want to call us "entitled" and "whiners".
