We've lived near here almost all of our lives yet have never been! We've driven past thousands of times. So today was the day! This little tranquil spot is in the heart of West Ogden near the baseball park. The visitor center was closed on Monday (the day we visited). This site hosts a world class frisbee golf course. There were several people there taking advantage of this sport. The fort gate was locked too, but we were able to see a lot of things. This was a nice spot for a step into nature without leaving the city. Would be a nice place to take kids to practice fishing and just take a walk around the pond. Lots of shade. Grasshoppers were gross, but no other bugs when we were there.
