Sometimes a much needed back to nature break is just what your sanity screams out for!
Fort da Soto park provides tranquility, nature, & fresh air in abundance.
Located in Pinellas county 30 mins south of St. Petersburg, and an hour drive From Tampa, it's ideally located for year round camping.
It's super popular, and can get very booked up (the secret is out!), but you can reserve up to 6 months out, or snatch up a last minute booking like we did. If possible try and book a waterfront site, you won't be disappointed!
Check out pinellas.gov/c...
for the latest availability, pricing, & information.
It's truly a wonderful experience, and truly grounding. We just had the most incredible time!

There is a lot of wildlife at the campground! So it is wise to keep all food items secured away & not around to attract raccoons etc .. now re the rats… technically they are called palm rats .. they are primarily found in the trees .. they never bothered us, nor did we see loads of them .. you should be fine! It’s a beautiful campground.. have a fabulous time!
