Ok ,… but if you want to really advance transportation in South Florida, start by creating a new rail line that isn’t shared with the freight rail line from the 1940’s. A commuter line that’s sole purpose would alleviate extreme traffic & provide revenue for important destinations along the way with parking facilities adjacent to stops for quick access. INVEST IN THAT🤷🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
Wow thats amazing,driiving a car truh a tunnel!I for sure have to fly to Florida to see this worldwonder!We drive every day in big tunnels here in Switzerland,but it must be sooo much more exiting to drive in very small ones!
You won't be allowed to drive in these tunnels. A vehicle will shuttle you through the tunnel to the beach and bring you back later. The tunnels aren't going to be exciting. I've been through the Channel Tunnel, which is AMAZING, but not exciting at all. The exciting thing about these tunnels is that TBC is promising to build them for a fraction of what other transportation options wanted to charge them. But that's exciting in a different way. Tourists won't come for the tunnels. They'll come for the beach. And the tunnels will help keep cars off the beach.

Did non of them see the jenky outright joke that was the LV tunnel, and they want to put that in a flood prone area....... Nope, nothing could ever go wrong with that...
It could potentially be for any car, those that don't have self-driving electric drive could just get onto some kinds of skates that can transport each car.. but the main idea may be to try to prevent people from bringing their own cars around but rather park somewhere at the edge of traffic.. I think both options can be implemented. The tunnel is big enough for teslas (which are quite wide cars) with open door to be able to exit the car, so any regular sized car could fit on electric skates if not electric.
The only thing crazy about the design, was the raw side exposed elevating planks, when carts reached surface, plus traveling in a lenghty duriation, people would need to make a pit stop or emergency, which most never considered if there is a stop feature between travel, inside those, pipes. Because the whole thing will instigate an underground recreation realm with these issues.
