I couldn't stay long after the grand entry but I slammed it together and uploaded the same night! I will be staying all day saturday and I'll be recording more drums and dances then hopefully have more videos by sunday morning.

Always enjoy watching the Crown dancers. Especially during the Sunrise ceremonies both in Whiteriver areas (White Mountain Apache) or San Carlos. Good to see their keeping their tradition strong. Sapa (Thank you) 😊

Not knowing the meaning of the dance, I could still appreciate how well they performed. I have worked with seed beads and have also pieced quilts, so I know how much work went into the making of the kilts. I loved the colors of all the traditional dress.
