Full time lapse taken over 4 days of the wild fires at Fort McMurray, as seen from both NW and SE facing webcams situated at Fort McMurray Airport.
The fire started in the wilderness outside Fort McMurray on Sunday 1st May - By noon on Friday 6th May the fire has surpassed 100,000ha and caused the mandatory evacuation of over 80,000 residents. Over 1,600 structures are confirmed destroyed. More statistics are included at the end of the video.
Our thoughts are with all those affected - evacuees, firefighters and everyone involved in protecting the town.
