There is nothing dishonorable about renaming the fort after an American hero. Its even better that he was an enlisted man and not an officer. For this particular instance, my opinion is that it was a good move by the Army.
There are just as many if not more people that have done more for this country. You can thank Chuckie Scumer for this choice, a real traitor. It's Fort POLK, always has and always be Fort POLK.
