These are a few favorite photos and some video clips from previous trail rides at Fort Robinson State Park in Nebraska. What started as an army camp in the 1880s and repurposed a couple of times and is now a State Park. A number of the historic buildings are available for lodging and a few are open for self-guided tours during the summer season. If you visit here, be sure to get out and walk around the parade grounds, stop and read the plaques for each of the buildings. As one of the few places that offers true stable lodging for horses, it is a great place to get out and trail ride with your horse.
