Although brief, this virtual tour remarkably captures the vital role, significance and importance of the 'Walled City' of Intramuros during our pre- and post colonial past. Such glimpses of our nation's historic past provides important highlights and valuable information that visitors and tourists flocking to Fort Santiago should not miss. This virtual tours should be made deliberately accessible by the Department of Tourism and DepEd to all students at all levels, specially those in the provinces whose physical travel to Manila is not possible. For our students to further appreciate our glorious and painful past, as well as ignite the waning spirit of nationalism among our youths.
It was my first time visiting there at Fort Santiago and the whole experienced was great as it feels like I bring back in the past and the dungeon itself w/ some pics of the remains is so heavy to be seen by my own eyes.
it's just sad because other young people don't appreciate our culture and history, they prefer to learn the history of another country than their own country. But somehow there are still many like me who love and treasure our culture and history.
Actually young teens of now are very much interested in Philippines history nowadays, I went to Intramuros a while ago and learned a lot more information than usual, more newer generation of kids were seen around too
Its unfortunate but expected.. Youth are influence by what is Trending & Cool w/in their space.. Phil Culture & History have so much to offer & unpacked... making more Films about our flawed but Patriotic Heroes & Filipinos can pull interests toward our own country.. collaborating w/ Influencers & vloggers can capture next generation of avid Historians too.. Make walking tours Cool & hip.. that's what Teens love..
This is Amazing! An Incredible Narration of history and background of Intramuros plus the Astonishing Camera shots of the Sceneries around the Area. Nice Job for this very Educational and Informative Tourism Guide Video.
Dapat gawin cobblestones ang entire central bloc ng intramuros, from manila cathedral to other end. Tas isara exclusively for pedestrians and perhaps calesas gaya sa vigan
Please make Intramuros exclusively a tourist spot. Relocate all residential, Training centers, offices, and illegal settlers. And open for investors for Cafes, Galleries, Museums, and High Fashion Boutiques only. However, exclusive schools and Manila's colleges should remain to stay there. No more padyaks, but e-bikes can be welcomed as alternative transport. However, Kalesa is still highly recommended.
If only a huge part of manila was restored it could've rivaled some stunning cities in Europe, it was even dubbed as the "Paris of Asia" because of its neoclassical and art deco style architecture. Hopefully manila could go back to its former glory
magdagdag pa sana ng mga restaurants ng mga lutong Pilipino at mga cafes para sa kape at Pilipino kakanin n other deserts na siguradong tatangkilikin ng mga turista lokal man o dayuhan

Hello to the content creator of this channel and video, I just want to ask for permission to use some clips of this video for educational purposes. Thank you!
What is damaging to the reputation of intramuros based on the bloggers I watch who goes there are those opportunistic pedicab riders and calesa drivers who are very persistent to the point that it irritates the foreign visitor and they get charged exorbitant prices, even I as a pinoy fell victim to this. Can you not standardize this service like provide a station of a booth there where people can pay fix fees with posted prices you know like the gondola ride in Venice Grand Canal Mall. Hello Tourism Secretary this is common sense, sorry to be blunt
