My brother’s family and I had made plans to go to FW for the fireworks display weeks in advance because we had never gone before. We weren’t far from where it happened. Good thing that no one panicked because otherwise this would’ve had ended horribly.
With all the beer undoubtedly consumed before then, I bet the attendees could have formed a line, urinating as they moved forward in unison, rapidly extinguishing the fires 🧯, and then on with the show .. 😀
Remember all: This is why it's always BEST to let the PROFESSIONALS do the shows. Don't try this at home. (To the replies below this is a JOKE) even the professionals can start fires as shown here LOL.

lmao because people are dumb not the brightest I’ve done for past years never burn anything down or hurt myself or others trying to watch people need to learn where it safe to do so if not then find somewhere else if I was live in a neighborhood surrounded by dry grass and stuff I wouldn’t be dare to do any type of fireworks.
Nine minutes 9:00 into the video, the Fireworks begin. As the camera pans down at 13:45 you can see the several fires running over the grown. We were less than 5 minutes into the full blown show as they began to take the proper measures to cancel the show. It was a wonderful show until then. I suspect we Texans will have to move to LED drones everywhere except the coastlines over the gulf. Galveston already moved to drones. Simply the way of the future, nonetheless beautiful. Dallas has been displaying LED drones for a while. We need to join forces with F-town and D-town moving forward. D-town, VERY disappointed with the mismanagement of the B of A Plaza and the OMNI for NOT coordinating their LEDs with the drones. What the hell is that all about? Too lazy to show your support for this wonderful country we ALL enjoy? Get with it guys! Two of the most well known structures in downtown Dallas not joining in. I'm not suggesting they out do the drones, just coordinate with the drones, even if you have to black out your buildings through the show. At lest OMNI can generate a countdowns and B of A plaza could chase the tower with vertical Read White and Blue as a 60 second countdown with fast streaming vertical R W&B, and slow it's LED pace during the show and filling in the gaps as the drones regroup for the next alignment of drones to display graphics. We don't follow, we Texans lead. Get with it folks. We both have charming cities. We owe an unpaid price tag for everyone that has given their very lives to enjoy the best we have to celebrate their short lives to the 56 States and Territories they and their families unselfishly gave to the very foundation of our liberty and freedom. Never forget those who gave their lives. Join in in celebration next time. No more room for excuses! Respect the dead. Respect our countries birth. How can we respect the Great State of Texas and The Republic of Texas any other way? I am ashamed of these two structures lack/absence of participation. EVERY SINGLE TIME we host an LED drone show, I better see these buildings joining in. You are on required to touch keys on a keyboard and you can't even do that?! It's and LED show. YOU BOTH ALREADY have LEDs! No excuses in the future, especially the OMNI. If not for the tax payers of Dallas, you would not even have than beautiful structure. MY money! And Bank of AMERICA, if not for AMERICA, you would still be called the Bank of Italy. I know. I was on the 47th floor of that building named after this very country. Both of you SO THANKFUL! Get on the phones and get er done! The Bank does not manage the tower, but they have direct influence on it's management as an occupant. Does the Bank need to re-stack and move into Elm place?
Poor planning! With all the dry grass everywhere, fire trucks should have been on each side of the fireworks station. Maybe they were, IDK I wasn't there, but I am not sure what took so long to get the fire out. Glad no one was hurt is all that matters.
@@codylee1248 they were there on site there were 2 brush trucks (aka grassland fire trucks) there already incase of fires because that's what happened last year at the end. the wind and the amount of spots that caught fire were to much for them to handle.
That's one reason why I didn't go, I knew the grass is dry and Fort Worth should've cut grass and and wet the area, I'm smart enough to do that around my house or at a park.... Fort Worth Texas next time wet the ground that's why you should've fire trucks there before it even start....
It could have been a MAJOR tragedy, if there was enough grass and the winds even higher .. The fire might have moved so quickly as to have overwhelmed the crowd, resulting in multiple deaths ..
It was close near the Highway. At Berkshire, And you see the big apartment, that I’ve seen. So, if the fire keeps spreading, it Will lead to a building fire, Home fire, or. Forest fire.

This is all Fort Worth Texas fault that they had to end it at the middle of the show the fire started soon as they started popping them and no the fire didn't started at 18:30 it started at 17:23
