That blue checked dress looks amazing on you. I can tell that you prefer florals and brilliant color but believe me, it is gorgeous on you. I also love the the way the one you are wearing. It drapes beautifully.
What fun makes! Love all your colors😊. I finally got around to making the Forte out of a rayon spandex Swiss dot. I added the flounce to a 3/4 length sleeve and did a rolled hem edge. Such a quick and easy sew. Thanks for sharing all your lovely Forte’s!

Do you think this could be made out of a soft cotton. My daughter is pregnant and she loves cotton. I know it will have more structure. What are your thoughts? Will it go over her head?
It will have to be a knit fabric like cotton spandex but that wouldn't have as much drape. You can try bamboo or modal jersey, those are super soft and comfy! ~K
It will fit differently on everyone inevitably as apex points vary. If your apex is lower, it is easy to add length to the upper bodice until you get your desired look. Some people prefer a higher seamline as well.. it just comes down to personal preference. Hope that helps. ~K
