Definitely nice to see how quickly this can be done. However, in a real world scenario there are a lot of additional configurations needed to get this to accept a host name and run on https. Also most people that are using SSC will also be using Scan Central. Best practices in setting these 2 up together would be a great video. I currently have it running on the same server as SSC in a separate tomcat install.
This local account has been frozen due to too many failed login attempts. I couldn't login with admin and admin, my account is frozen, could you help me how we can unlock this.
Please have a look at the following Fortify community post: community.microfocus.com/cyberres/fortify/f/discussions/514442/local-admin-account-frozen-after-setting-up-fortify-software-security-center
Hello Jan, Thanks for this excellent presentation. Requesting you share the video for Fortify upgrade from 19.12 to the latest version if you have it. Thanks again.
Hey Kapil, Since migrations are very individual, we probably won't make a video on this. I also recommend that you take a look at our Professional Service when migrating.
Thank you very much for the information shared, however I would like to know what additional aspects should be taken into account in the configuration when the database to be configured for the SSC application is located on another server. I would greatly appreciate this information.
So when I'm installing SSC there's an issue with the seeding, where it says: "Unable to process the Seeding failed: Unable to load seed context, why does this happen and how could I fix it?" Best regards! Nice tutorial
Hey! This can have many different reasons, but in most cases the database connection is not what it should be. This means that the first thing I would do is check that the database connection is working properly. If you need further support, you can of course open a support ticket.
Hello, thanks for good video manual. Many SSC Admins will be very grateful if You make same manual for HTTPS setup, AD connect, and common problems while doing these manipulations :)
Seed bundles are included in the install files (should be in a subfolder called “srg_content”) or as part of security content releases: www.microfocus.com/documentation/fortify-software-security-center/2310/SSC_Help_23.1.0/index.htm#SSC_UG/Seed_DB_Qrtly.htm
