Thank you for sharing, this video is great. I have been trying to set that up, however, previously I setup user group for the Remove VPN and I thought I can use that one for the dashboard login. It seems like you cannot reuse the group, so I had to create another one then it showed up when creating a remote user under Administrators.
I'm a little bit confused, don't you have to join the NPS server to the domain? how did it pull the group name from the active directory if the NPS server is not joined to the DC?
Nawa if you check nps server background you can see that server already joined to domain, nps server without domain can not get the group information from AD
I am stuck at Test Connectivity 10:57, it fails when I test connectivity , not sure what i am doing wrong...my nps server is also the Domain controller.
hi , i think this problem is related to Windows Firewall , Or your NAS IP address , because when you configure your NPS you should write currect IP address of your NAS IP (Your Radius packets source IP) . is that your Test environment or Production ?
