It seemed like the kaiju actully listened to him and tried to come back to life, and then stopped when he said he was only kidding.

After being caught on the manga, I never realised until now how Kaiju no 9 resembles as Mahoraga but skinnier.

This show has such a great balance of spectacle and humor. The parts that are cool are really cool, and the parts that are funny are REALLY freaking funny. 🤣🤣

I think what happened is that the parasyte kaiju was supposed to take over kafkas body, but didn't for some reason, and kaiju no. 9 is what happens when it *does* take over. That or Kafka is supposed to be kaiju no. 9's counter and defeat him, which would explain why the parasyte said "found you" before entering him.

I couldn't help myself, I became a manga reader after this episode, kaiju no. 8 is really good😂

I dunno if anyone really noticed, but that one he took out with a backhand behind Shinomiya was a Yoju, the same type he charged up to punch right after he left the hospital. So they stealthily showed the power scaling while also giving you the fortitude level....I LOVE this shit.....

Just to put Kafka's Fortitude level into perspective: the Fortitude scale doesn't seem to be linear (we'll see better examples of why later but obv no spoilers) so the difference between Kafka's 9.8 and the Kaiju's 6.4 is a huge one. Also, the subtitles don't do it justice. In the manga they straight up say that Kafka is THE strongest known Kaiju in history

I'm on chapter 106 of this manga by the same name, and has been over for a week. The final fight between No. 8 and No. 9 has just begun. Waiting for the next release. Not really a spoiler, but the monster in this episode is named Kaiju no. 9, and he is OP.

remember guys, the kaijuu scale is based on the same system that we use for earthquakes, the richter scale, wich is logarithmic. That means tha 9.8 is orders of magnitude higher the 5.8, more than a 1000x. Kafka is a whole diferent beast

Kafka is a human that ate a Kaiju and became one, so I think that that intelligent Kaiju is a Kaiju that gained the ability to mimic human appearance, probably because it ate 10,000 humans or some shit, idk.

the reason they aren't telling the general public is because they WOULD panic. Sure they're used to Kaiju popping up, but they aren't used to the idea that they can get back up or be as strong a Kafka. When I was watching the episode I was thinking "I Hope people dont misinterpret what the smart kaiju was saying in the bathroom." That Kaiju is a kaiju, not a human turned kaiju like kafka. He said something like "How do I act human?" That kaiju is imitating a person. Hope they have been told already or will be told before next episode
