Theory: The entire Fortnite world is a simulation, and everything that rifts into the map is from a higher level of existence. Midas created the Device to somehow reach the next level, but failed. The upper level noticed that Midas was trying to break out of the simulation, and they sent the Marauders into the simulation to try and stop others in the simulation from trying to break through.

Predictions: The hut watch will evolve into a 3 story building and is gonna be an landmark called "chairvilla"

Theory: I believe that during the Device live event, (when we went into the office building) we were in Vindertech labs in the STW universe But before the storm wiped out most of the population. I personally believe that Vindertech already knew about the upcoming apocalypse the storm was going the bring in this timeline So in preparation, they sent in soldiers to explore and train in a different island so they could prepare for the apocalypse and maybe even find a way to stop it. During the time the soldiers were on the island, some maybe didn’t want to leave and they started having families which is why more and more soldiers started to join Vindertech. That’s my personal theory on some of the Fortnite storyline : )

Theory: Midas and jules are siblings that always hated each other so when midas made ghost jules joined shadow later on midas went to jules and said listen this storm is way to dangerous I need us to put our hate aside to stop the storm so she agreed but she was lying she built the device but rigged it so it looked like when everything broke down midas was trying to destroy the island when in reality he was trying to save it so everyone hated midas so midas went to chaos agent and said I want you to take over ghost in case they try to kill me he agreed the reason he agreed was because he realized jules might overthrow him(that's why we have a leaked ghost chaos agent skin)and shadow was very big so chaos agent coverted a lot of shadow to ghost so there is a lot of ghost members now that's also why brutus was ghost in the trailer and together they built a rebel base(the fortilla) jules realized all this was happening so that's why the authority is so fortified. Meanwhile when meowscles attacked midas with a shark I don't think midas died I think he sank under water so while he was sinking he turned himself to gold so he could breath under water and when the water levels drop completely he will make a return because they cant just kill off such an important character in such a pathetic way. theory: jules will give the marauders more tech in exchange for takeover of catty corner and/or the fortilla . the marauders will be stronger but will replace henchmen at either location and will hold the boss hostage until they change to shadow

I just want to point out those ships look more like British trade ships, closer to the 16th or 17th century than anything the Vikings ever built during their bloody Era between 800-1100BC. Perhaps its a puritan crustacean wedding?

Heres one of my story theories: Fortnite is a simulation, just not in the way u think. its a sort of game show. its like the hunger games, yet colorful. Tho, why did Midas do all this? Well, i think he was just experimenting with the loop and possibly hoping to destroy it. so he asked his childhood friend, Jules, to help create the Doomsday device. And when he turned it on, he almost succeeded. We got a few glimpses outside the loop, but something went wrong. the storm got in the way of his plans, and caused a flood. his plan failed. and then he was eaten by a shark. Tho i dont think he died. I think he turned the shark into gold from the inside. now he is on the trash pirahna island with the vibing sea creatures teaching them how to cut down trees and make weapons. he will be coming back tho. someday. Also, i think that the device was actually powered by the electricity from the Travis Scott live event. I mean, that kinda makes sense.

My guess the new astronaut girl is heralding a new meteor. But this time instead of just crashing. When the meteor starts to arrive, it will radiate cosmic rays that start to affect the map. This could explain the special flower that keeps popping up. This can play into next season where instead of simply, causing a big flower as an event, it instead causes a super bloom next season which will transform the map into an alien like planet. With extraterrestrial plants and locations

Theory what if chapter 2 is an alternative universe where the 7 aren’t known about and fade is the alternative of drift and as the chapter 2 story continues the 2 universes collide giving us the final 4 from the 7 and we get a map where throughout each game the circles will cause locations to change to previous locations from both chapters.

Theory: The mauraders are from the chapter 1 island that and their entering our map with rift to see if they can move to our island beacuse since that black hole some survive and are still in that island living

Theory : so I've seen that the marurdors are coming out of rifts so maybe we are going to get a new Kevin cube just not Kevin

I think the axe that the little jelly guy is holding is the fable axe, minus the lantern. If you look closely you can see the wolf scratches on the handle

I didn't see people mention this but after you give them coral pals wood . If you go back to them in a different match two of their ships are gone and one of them came back with a fish they caught

Theory: Agent Jonesy is one of the 7, he was the first to come here, the second that came in the meteor came looking for him and tried to create time travel to go back to when Jonsey first arrived. This failed creating the rifts and the rest is history.

You can actually find some bares and gnomes around the map one place you can find them in is at the no sweat insurance cargo float in one of the cargo spaces you find a bear and gnome doing some sort of puppet show
