Now that all the modes are out, I’m pretty disappointed at the pricing for all the cosmetics across all the modes. Everything is too high priced. Glitched or not, cars are WAY TOO EXPENSIVE! The song tracks should only be 100 or 200 vbucks at the most. Mini battle passes should only be 450 or included for free to crew members. For now LEGO is the only company keeping Epic under control. Remember, these new modes are for everyone, so kids and teens are expected to fork over TONS of money for something they don’t own? I think that is just predatory!
200 vbucks for platinum mega popular songs to use in a game mode? this ain't lobby music you listen to for 30 seconds while queuing up. 450 for a battle pass with 5000+ vbucks worth of stuff? bruv this ain't fortnite originated stuff this is stuff they gotta pay a lot for to be in the game, if y'all want these things it ain't cheap to get them & if you don't want them then don't buy them. the cars are overpriced & so are the instruments but outside of that nothing else is overpriced you just want everything for free. you're on the cheap end of the scale & fortnite is on the greedy end of the scale, meet in the middle

i hope they add jam tracks as a vehicle playlist (like war tracks with call of duty warzone) later down the road. i'd definitely buy a lot of tracks if they do

Im sorry but these prices are literally insane for a music mode. 1800 for a Festival Pass? Thats double the price of a normal BP, 1000 for a instrument that you can hardly see in the background during the gameplay and 500 for a Jam Track you cant even use in normal BR Lobby? Wtf Epic?
i agree the tracks should be available in lobby or vehicles, just something other than that game mode BUT the after hours weeknd skin alone would be 1,800 vbucks. remember they're actually giving you a discount
I was planning on buying the festival pass because I thought 1800 isn't that of a big deal for getting a premium limited-edition skin. But I then found out from this video that all the premium rewards will be available in the item shop for purchase later on. WTH Epic, aren't battlepass skins supposed to be limited? If you're gonna do this, then at least let me buy the skins from the old battlepass as well. I want my Piper Pace and Selene. If you're gonna punish me for not being able to buy my favorite skins just because I played a bit late, then at least punish the future players as well by not being able to purchase the weekend skin from this festival pass.
Thats absolutely hilarious they included the song "Poison" in this new battle pass.....since that's the exact same song that the very first free "emote" we all got the day we first played fortnite is from. Poison is the name of the song that the guy from the TV show "Scrubs" dances to... which became the ICONIC default emote.

You can even hook up your old guitar hero and rock band controllers with joy2key. But they announced that they are bringing official controller support for Fortnite Festival.
to be honest it's too much , you gotta stay 30 mins in jam then on main stage do 9 songs which is another 30 mins , like wtf do i have to play 2 hours a day to do daily quests? in br and racing i finish them in 10 mins

1800 for the premium song battle pass is kinda pricey. Normally they have been about 1000 in the past and thats about the mark i think they should have stated at, considering they also had licensed material. 7 songs worth 500 a piece is also kinda expensive considering that the game is just kinda Guitar Hero. For reference, the most recent version of Guitar Hero had 42 songs with over 200 more songs accessable via the internet. Rockband 4, the most recent non-VR one had 65 songs on disk but was also backwards compatible with all previous Rockband songs. For each additional DLC song, they cost $1.99 USD. At the current rate of USD to V Buck conversion 500 V Bucks is roughly $4.00 USD. This would place every song in the item shop as double the cost of what they were previously. To be fair here, the most recent versions of Rockband and Guitar Hero came out in 2015 so a previous generation, but most of the currently available songs were around then too so take that how you will.
The fact that they don’t give u the paid battle pass section with Fortnite crew subscription is dumb like take the rocket league battle pass out and add something that actually comes with the same game 🤦♂️🤦♂️
The way I feel about this Festival Pass is that honestly, I believe the Pass is not really worth it, I think this Pass is a slap in the Face to all Crew Subscribers this should just be free because aside from the Final Reward which is the Red Suit Style for the Weekend, what else do we really want in this Pass? I'm sorry but the Jam Tracks should also be usable as lobby Tracks they really aren't worth it if u have to go to Jam section to make it play. U are basically paying 1,800 V Bucks for an alternate style for the Weekend.
I'm not gonna lie I left to go on holidays for a week and I come back to sensory overload, It's really hard to navigate all the modes and understand everything, additionally the prices are pretty high, it makes me feel like Epic wants you to pick one mode and STICK to It, rather than playing all of them, since It's gonna be a hell of a grind to get everything across all the modes if there's "battlepasses" and "exclusive" rewards across them all... I'm just hoping that most of the stuff is kept to the item shop, so that way there's less stress, but they really gotta update the UI...
Not really a fan of this mode but the current pricing on everything is ridiculously over priced! Really hope to hear you and other big content creators actually call epic out on this greedy bs! A car skin costs more then a actual player skin hell no not ever going pay that! Same with the stupid mini pass’s nothing worth paying that much for in them imo. I will still probably get the pass but it is quite scummy that not all of the rewards will be exclusive. If I am paying 1800 v bucks for stuff that I can just get at a later date, it won’t feel as good unlocking all of them. I hope epic fixes the prices because they are way too much.

Won’t be buying any of the “instruments/ drum sets” for 1000. Definitely won’t be buying any of the cars. Pricing is waaaaaaaay off. I did get a few music packs but that’s about it. I can’t even play any difficulty beyond Easy in Fortnite Festival and they expect me to shell out 1800 VB on a battle pass. I only bought The Weeknd bundle and went back to Lego Fortnite and Battle Royale.
I did the math, the festival pass is only worth 5.2 times the value of the price whereas the battle pass is worth 16.5 times the value of the price. I'd hate to do the math again but I can provide proof
