Fortnite Just Added This CHALLENGE EXCLUSIVE Item From Valentine's Day 2020 To The Item Shop 

Thumbnail just reminded me of the old challenge tab, I miss it so much

If they release items that were obtained through challenges in the item shop, I would like to see the return of the music pack called Sparkles that came out of the first summer event and the music pack called B-Day Beats that came out on the second anniversary . . I really love those songs and would love to have those items on my current main account (created in chapter 2 season 1) and not just my old account where I played.

Kinda makes me wonder what’s on Epic’s mind as far as “exclusives” go. I feel like this is a test to the community to see if anyone even notices, and then to see if anyone cares (about some random pickaxes from years ago) before moving on the the bigger items. I’d love to see the Merry Mint Axe come back personally.. it’s not even a collab just please 🙃

I think Epic should start bringing free rewards back to the store unless they say they are exclusive at the time they give them. It would help get some of the free Discord items that a lot of people didn't get because Epic failed to inform players that there were quests to earn those items.

Fortnites been doing lots of sneaky stuff lately one example is on the current starter pack it says in very small print at the top may return in the future

Unless this is a mistake, if they are bringing back items and making them not exclusive, I don't care if people would cry about their exclusive things, I just want the Millennium Falcon because I wasn't playing around that time.

At this rate they might even start putting old battle pass skins in the shop

Frankly I don’t care… only because I remember hating doing these challenges BECAUSE this was during their “Creative Challenges” Era by forcing us to do these on holidays

Pretty sure they just overlooked the fact that it was a quest reward...

Imagine if fortnite meant all exclusives could come back at any point

Lazy Shuffle and Infectious have become staples of my emotes. I love Hardstyle and Hardcore.

If I remember correct the Harley Quinn skin came out around the same time as these challenges. Because I removed using that skin when playing the search and destroy mode

damn i must have never finished that questline. this was towards the end of the season so it does make sense on why i never finished it. i do have the two sprays from the love and war challenges but the two skateboard styles are locked for me and i dont have the pickaxe lol i wouldve never noticed if it never got pointed out

I got the pickaxe not knowing they were apart of Valentine's day challenges. I like the splash and the sound it makes.

One thing im a little disappointed about is that the "twilight strikers" pickaxe that got an item shop appearance tonight dont have the same pink contrail they used to have or any contrail for that matter. Like, ill be honest i didnt get the pickaxe back then but i got the wrap from those chapter 2 challenges but i looked up gameplay of that pickaxe in chapter 2 and they had a nice pink streak contrail when swinging it. I bought the pickaxe and didnt see that pink trail when i tried it out.

The old challenges tab was the best

Aahh i nevee knew that the clash skin had her own dual pickaxes and she's actually one of the few earlier skins i bought once i started getting vbucks welp time to get em before they rotate out the shop

If you look at the characters page it says bright bomber npc and a few others Sell a flint knock check them but they don't sell it yet

I miss the old Fortnite UI and stylisms :( Even the chapter 2 UI is starting to feel nostalgic for me comapred to the newer, somehow way mote complicated UI we have nowadays

Btw it wasn’t the first time they did this you know the winter Wonderland sky had a pickax. You can get free from some winter quest and when the skin released the pickax released/returned too

Chapter 2 UI was kinda cool

Here's hoping for them to bring back battlepasses from previous seasons, as someone who didn't get to play in the past, im sad i missed out on Geralt and Doom Slayer and i don't see any reason to not bring back old battlepasses. Both Halo and Super Animal Royale have good examples of this successfully working.

People overreacting as if releasing old stuff (that most likely people never use sitting in there locker) is going to kill the game. At worst 10 people leave, and you don't need to grind as much.

Alan Wake is the best of the best! I love Remedy games in general and I'm actually surprised he's back up tonight. I know he'll come back once more when the next DLC drops which might be in October.

I actually think they should definitely bring back old skins just give people with these items with fixed release dates, Battle passes etc. should get a style (skull trooper) just for them or give them an alternative skin (idk what skin uses this or if there is any, but it won't let people complain as much)

IF we do get items from previous challenges i would love the "crystal llama" backbling and the "cloud llama surfboard" glider as i never acquired those and i would ACTUALLY use those items compared to MOST people. But if not i can understand but i see no value in holding items that others will use more than the ones that just want to show off for how rare it is and just cause they have it just dont sit right with me.

i'm happy that they're bringing back some challenge items! it's nice to see some stuff that can be obtainable once again. I've been a longtime player and taken many breaks from the game so it's nice to get stuff that were once available as challenge items

I think a lot of yall aren’t understanding the original point of the battle pass. It wasn’t to get exclusive skins it was to pay once and then get rewarded for playing by gaining cosmetics which at the time were all very cool original skins and items that were worth buying. Then the whole idea of items being locked to that’s season’s pass made people want to buy the passes even more. Yall are treating the battle pass like a starter pack. You bought the pass then got rewarded for playing. Starter packs you buy then that’s it they were supposed to be exclusive to that time frame end of story. Battle passes involved actually playing the game to get items so it helped keep players online. If Fortnite rereleased all the old BPs then their online count would hit numbers in the 10s of millions and stay that way for a long time IF you had to grind out the rewards. I think if they did bring back the passes that players already owning the items should be able to grind the pass but be rewarded V-bucks per level. So they get to tier 100 and earned like 15,000 vbucks which would only be available to the players who already had the OG pass items if that makes sense. That way there isn’t anything exclusive anymore and people will quit scamming the little kids online with the fake streams for vbucks and the account sellers and all the crap going on that kids can’t help but fall for. And people will quit complaining about exclusivity. I had a chapter 1 season 3 OG emote that came back in chapter 3 or 4 in the item shop and now it’s in the shop every month. It was exclusive for 2 or 3 years then it wasn’t anymore. It didn’t ruin how I felt about the game. It shouldnt ruin how you feel about it either. If you don’t like it I’m willing to bet you don’t even play the game anymore

Fortnite is like gambling, you cannot quit because you feel like you’re going to lose so much if you will not play and buy battle pass, I did fall in that trap, I bought my first bp in the season after the season with Midas, I’m buying bp every since, I’m trying to replicate the excitement and dopamine that I was feeling first time I bought my starter pack (wingman) and my first bp, it doesn’t coming to me. Today I’m like 19 and I spend another money on Metallica pass but all I feel about this game now is fear of missing out something that may become rare someday. That all
