Clix has been banned from Fortnite competitive for 2 weeks, which will cause him to miss the next 4 months of FNCS competition. I know its funny timing with the last video but this is important to address, I have a lot of thoughts about this topic

i'm so happy to se other streamers react to the situation. People say he should of left the match but if he did it would have ruined his tourney and the streamsniper would see that as of no concequence for him. Steamsniping in tourney should automaticly end up in permaban.

if he would of pushed him he would of waist more mats and leave a good position. no comp player/ steamer is going to play the game in fonction of a streamsniper. It dosent make sence to give the streamsniper the opportunity to get what he wants (clout)

Not saying he did nothing wrong , he should not have said ; give me splash but streamsniping is out of hands. The one time its "benefits" him he get a 2week ban its too harsh. he should get 1week and the streamsniper perma.

didn’t know this happened , but i wholeheartedly agree !! not only is that directly taking away his income and work , but it almost feels like it sets the precedent for it to just be something for the streamer to deal with on their own , to which there is no possible positive outcome (this being a prime example) and all he really did was make a simple , non-threatening mistake !

I 100% agree. Stream sniping really can turn the tides of competitive, giving streamers so much more mats / loot. I think banning the players who stream snipe might be more fair instead.

You right people shouldn't stream snipe and don't wanna post tournaments but lots of streamer adds a delay when it comes time to these tournaments events just increase the delay yes it will suck for the interaction with your viewers but it's a solution. But a 2 week ban is a little expensive and the other player that did the sniping should have a permanent ban

Something what you didnt mention is that the streamsniper wasnt even playing on his main account and he only got banned on this additional one, so realisticly he got no punishment. Plus you need to remember that this solo tournament is region locked and this streamsniper was playing another region on another account, which is simply breaking the rules. That means he not only streamsniped during the tournament, but also played this tournament illegaly.

That’s what I’m saying. But I don’t think they want to make it look fine to give people splashes you know. So they might reduce the suspension but I think at first to scare the comm, they needed to put a harsh punishment.

I just want to add, Epic “may believe” Clix has acting about not knowing the “stream sniper” so believing they both were in on helping him gave both of them the same ban. I believe Epic is wrong on this one. I won’t be watching FNCS without Clix.

When I was a streamer I always had a time delay of about 60 seconds. This is more than enough time to confuse most watching and trying to screen snip.

dumbass he if he gets a dono or sees a message from chat the it takes a long time to see the streamer to respond. also on obs and twitch you cannot have a 5-10 minute delay and at most 30 seconds

No , When you are live streaming to 15k viewers you can’t run a 10-20 minute delay because it fucks up your stream so bad . AussieAntics talked about this and said that you can’t properly respond to donations, can’t communicate with the chat properly and the stream is scuffed overall which is against what streaming is what all about . If you can’t communicate properly with the people watching you and donating you then what’s really the point of streaming

This actually helped answer why the 2 hackers I came across in my first game a few days ago didn’t get banned, this definitely helped a lot! The punishment doesn't seem to fit here. To have the same punishment as the wrong-doer - stream sniping is worse - is taking the rule application to the extreme. I wish they could have some sort of way to weigh in all the factors. And I really can't understand how a two week ban also equals a 4 month ban.......

He is only banned for 14d but the thing is that if your ban is 2 weeks or longer you cannot really compete in this FNCS and the next FNCS meaning he can't attend the LAN Event in Copenhagen, Denmark which means one of his ways of income has totally been cut off, Cented needs to find a new teammate mid-season

Clix puts up with stream sniping more than any other creator even in Competitive and Epic does absolutely nothing about it. Even in Fncs he gets stream sniped so much. Epic has a history with listening to the fortnite community. Although they do it really well, they also do it worse than a lot of games. They banned clix (one of the main things thats keeping fortnite so popular) for what they called "teaming". First of all he didnt do it on purpose and second of all he doesnt deserve the ban. Fortnite banned him to make it more "fair" for the community and for the future events. Yet everyone who are actually playing these events WANTS clix to get unbanned. Why ban him with no real excuse?

I don’t agree with such a lengthy ban but people need to stop putting every streamer on a pedestal and using the ‘it’s their job’ excuse. Streamer culture has ruined multiplayer gaming for a lot of people and the guy is sitting on a lot of cash as it is. I’d be more sympathetic if some of these guys put more effort into a job that actually contributes to society. Epic Games and every other major developer will survive just fine without ‘influencers’ and ‘streamers’. He makes enough money as it is from RU-vid revenue. I’d hope that you all put this much effort into supporting people with jobs who help the rest of society instead of people screaming abuse and dropping F bombs every 2 seconds at stream snipers trolling in a $100 cash tournament.
