I have mixed opinions on this season. But i forgot that Fortnite is all about embracing the weirdness and changes it has to it every update. In conclusion, i guess i like it.
It’s very chaotic. This season is just based around the cars & its weapon mods. It’s crazy how every end game it’s just people in cars shooting. It’s a love & hate relationship right now lol
I was shooting at an unarmed enemy yesterday until he started emoting. Then we both emoted, I led him to a car and we just drove around. I didn't have any intention on actively teaming or anything like that (as in killing people together.) But I just wanted to play around with him. Unfortunately he was already low from when I shot him before we got in the car, someone shot him through the window and he died
I have never said anything wrong with season except the MECH season. This is giving me MECH Vibes....Ranked sucks but I am thinking it will be easy to camp if everyone is driving lol. Also pubs end game with 7 cars is crazy lol.
The utter chaos and unpredictability of this season is what im enjoying the most. Even when my duo and I die in a match to some random bs, we have a blast due to how ridiculous it was. And when we get a victory without leaving the f*ing car is also really fun
I like the chaos of this season. It breaks up the monotony and makes people try new strategies. Im sure epic will nerf some stuff and probably bring back the anvil launchers later to balance it out.
The nitro fists are one of the funnest weapons ever added. It is a go to for my friend, and he goes crazy with them and almost always go for a fist fight in any conflict
I think if they just separate the loot pool between Comp and Regular, add more weapons that counter cars like the emp grenades and Anvil rocket launcher, Nerf the nitro splash more over the busting through wall part of it I think that might make people calm down. But I really like this season
I have a couple things that epic could add to help improve the balancing. 1. Anvil launchers. Not emp grenades, since those drain your shields, leaving you at lower hp when the car is disabled, which is a little op. 2. Port a Fortresses, which would give tons of cover and height for zero build players. 3. Launch pads. Great mobility, and it'll get you away from cars. 4. Armored walls. Have these buffed to where nitro cant break through as easily, and boom, good counter to nitro. Also, people need to remember that epic is adding a major counter in the form of thay grapple hook thing that allows you to latch onto cars and also continue to shoot at them while attached (not to mention the minigun returning soon)
@@TheEpicGalaxy21the only thing about that is not only is it gonna disable the car, it'll also break 80 shields. So if you're in builds, you'll have to leave the vehicle and fight someone with 110 hp maximum. But with the anvil launcher, it'll give the person in the car a chance to get out and fight while not taking damage from the launcher, leaving the car destroyed
I’m personally having a huge blast. The craziness with the cars, especially with a friend driving around, as you shoot an enemy car and watch the environment just explode is so fun. The bosses are cool, and each of their powers and medallions fit the skins. The boss cars are definitely overtuned, but personally I don’t care because it’s too fun 😭
this season is so fun if you have a car, you just demolish the whole lobby. Some of it feels like a movie scene chasing other cars down and trying to explode them. It’s so sick we won like four games in a row car only if someone has a repair torch, and you have one of the special cars ain’t no one breaking it
Tabor, I noticed something HUGE! when In the passenger seat of car, controlling the grenade turret, I noticed that my character was holding and looking at a CHAPTER 2 MAP! It had some weird graphics in it, and some words I couldn’t make out, but in the top left it very clearly said “locating”. I don’t know what all of this means, but maybe it’s hinting at chapter 2 OG? Please like so tabor can see this comment.
I like the season, it's amazing,the map,battle pass and everything is awesome and I love that we actually get to Punch people in the game! Makes me feel like Kratos using Spartan Rage in the 2018 and Ragnarok games 😂 but the one thing I honestly don't like is that if you wanna get a win you straight up NEED a Vehicle with the sentry turret,cow catcher and bullet proof tires, that combo is just deadly and irritating to fight
Personally I think that the grenade launcher damage and reload time needs reducing and the machine gun damage needs nerfing… I think that if epic does that then this season could literally be one of the best! The battle pass isn’t even that bad and mainly on theme with the season. It’s just the feeling of playing with friends and having super epic car chases and explosions is one of the best things in this game! Can’t wait to play more!
Personally I love this season. The chaos is genuinely something I've never experienced before, and it makes me laugh so much. When I die I can't even be mad, it's just so fun!! 😂
I LOVE THIS SEASON I love the chaos and how cars are the meta and the Chases are so fun like me and my friend had this huge car Chase and we blew up their car and it flipped over us and we ran over them it was like a movie I love it so much!
Just played like 8 matches and that was the most annoying thing I’ve ever played. Some fun chaotic moments in between. But mostly just so stupid. Basically a game of cat and mouse with people in cars, gauntlets and explosions..

Tabor, if you don't have a car this season, you need the rocket gloves (nitrofist) and a crossbow. Also, fuel tanks next to the refueling pads can blow up if you bump into them or shoot them. That's why you caught fire.
Like with most new things/ seasons, I feel like there are some balance changes that are needed to make things more fair, but as a whole it feels SUPER fun and Chaotic! Which is the point!
If you want to win this season, you NEED a car, especially one with lots of mods on it, it doesn’t even have to be one of the boss cars but just get in a car and use it strategically. I’ve been having so much fun this season and I hope it continues being this much fun
This season so far is very fun. For now cars are dominant but I’m sure they’re going to add weapons to balance the playing field. Circle Rotation in a vehicle is key to winning especially if you’re playing squads. When the Mad Max movie comes out soon, we can certainly expect vehicles and skins. Would be kinda cool if the Cybertruck gets into Fortnite since SUVS/Trucks are an option.
When I first saw the battle pass I was a little skeptical but to be honest there is so much more to do in battle royale than last season I got my first solo win of the season on the first day of the season with like 11 kills the car attachments and the new weapons were so fun to use🔥🔥
I instantly enjoyed this season and I anticipate that will continue. Those of us who are a little longer in the tooth may remember a couple of PSX/N64 games called Vigilante 8, which were basically a prototypical form of this gameplay - Battle Royale with cars. I used to enjoy the hell out of it so I'm really glad to have a contemporary take on it, especially as a free download.
I always found solos boring, easy compard to any other mode but you hardly ever get into fights even if you look for them, everything they've done with cars is pretty boring alone This season seems to be designed more for duos, trios and squads
This season truly brings me fun whereas I agree that somethings are not balanced, like at the end of match if you didn't get a full car, you'd be likely to lose to other players having op cars. But at all I enjoy this season!
I kinda miss the "old" Fortnite feeling with just normal guns and some special items but atm its feeling like they want to throw more and more strange items into the game which are kinda strong like water bending or these fists. ALso Im not a fan of the cars, cars used to be just to get faster around but now it feels like if you dont have a car you lost. I also dont like this map. The last ones felt like they where bigger and had bigger cities. Now the "cities" feel like part of a musem.
I'm really enjoying it, every season there's something that people hate. My group immediately embraced the madness of the Wasteland but if you're not about vehicles, the Enforcer AR (or anything with a higher rate of fire to promote hitting the characters inside the cars), Crossbow, and anything encouraging movement (like shockwaves) will help you a ton. I hated Waterbending but never complained online about it I just toughed it out. The same advice could be said for this season. Personally I'm having the most fun this season with the more cooperative aspect of vehicles.
I'm having a lot of Fun with Season 3 but it doesn't feel like Fortnite Anymore. This Season Reminds me of Chapter 3 Season 3 because It's literally War and Chaos but still SUPER FUN!
I love this season, as someone who’s both competitive and casual this new season definitely spiced things up, the weapons on the guns seem to be way to strong other than that this season is amazing so far
Hi Tabor. Hope everything is good news. It’s still early in the season but I am enjoying it. I understand why most people are grumpy about it but I laugh about that. They will adapt. It’s temporarily different, it will return to normal Fortnite. I just enjoy what it’s offered. And it’s chaos in a fun way. Hope you enjoy it.
I say let the sweats be mad. This season is great. Might I suggest a video going over the Wasteland Rock emote. It's reactivity seems to extend to jam tracks and instruments
This is the most fun I've had on Fortnite in awhile. It's a chaotic frenzy and I love everything about it. They nailed it with this one. Good job Epic, give your developers a raise!
This season is awesome. I am a Twisted Metal fan & this is great. Adding some car EMP tech would help with balance strategies. Ping is whats killing me at the moment. My net is garbage & some matches are what they are. But I am having fun.
This season has an annoying 3rd party meta Out of the 3 matches I've played this season, 2 of them I died to another player while I was already fighting someone else or healing up from a previous fight.
If someone jumps in your car, you can temporarily exit the turret, that allows you to bust out the window and use your weapons to eliminate the driver through the windscreen.
Fun fact: I think when you put the attachments on the vehicles when you use them your character holds something that I'm pretty sure has the ch2 map on it either its a bug or maybe the ch5 island will slowly turn into the ch2 island for ch2 OG or maybe its confirmation that ch2 OG is coming
tabor hill, here is the advice when someone got in to your car, just play the patient game against them. it is either you and the hijacker end up teaming with the car your riding on or just keep hugging the car until one of you break where they lost patience and out from your car. though their is also pickaxe hijack method where you can attack them with pickaxe while riding in the passenger seat.
I Like the way the game mixes it up. I recommend 2-seater car for quick seat changes and weapon use. Hard to get squad to take shotgun. The Fury gloves are O.C. (Outta Control.)
I’ve been playing since season 7 of chapter 1 and I have never genuinely hated a season until now. I even liked season X with the mechs because those were at least somewhat beatable
when someone jumps in your car, if u r in the turret seat u can press triangle (it might be a different button depending on bindings) to stop using the turret and then u can shoot them through the windshield like usual
It’s a good season, but the cars are definitely the new mechs. If you don’t have any cover (especially in zero build), and you don’t have a car, it’s basically impossible to win. I just came second to someone with 16 kills who was just driving around the map the whole game
My 9 Y.O. nephew got his first solo win this season, i really believe that this season has evened the playing field. It may seen broken and crazy as all hell but i believe more peope have a chance win this season than every before.
Personally, loving this season. I'm not our group's best sharpshooter. But, I am good at support and our team's best driver. So, I now have a guaranteed role for every match... when running teams. Just remember that one to two of the bosses may be wandering the map at any given time. It makes it easier to steal their rides. (All of which are amazing)
I'm having mad fun. The last dozen matches I have had other players jump in my car and we fight like a team until the car gets destroyed and then it is 1v1 again. Had one match when we were the last two and we hopped out and went at the old fashion way. I lost but had a blast playing. We friended each other right after and played duo and won two matches.
There is a main strat, use a mythic vehicle and kill everyone. Not really any other way to go about it. They are a bit over powered soooooo I don't know. I'm having fun but I just don't feel skill is involved at all. So that's what I'm missing.
I think the season rocks what can I say. They struck the perfect balance of chaos. Every match is fun now!! Definitely an improvement over last season.
It's fun , love the concept and the potential but the mythic cars and gauntlets are rough and needs to be toned down. We also need EMPs and the anvil. However, I noticed builds were more tolerable today than ZBs. It's only been a few days.
This season is crazy and I'm all for it. Last season was decent ish, just not all aboard the Greek theme.. But this one, definitely way better, love the vehicle battles, and I personally like the battle pass
So far this is my favorite season i have played, it hits just about everything i like. Heavy metal, loud noises, high speed, vehicle combat, and a desert biome. They even got a flamethrower guitar emote in the battlepass like i wanted! Rust may become one of my new mains, just about everything in this season i am a fan of. Love the post apocalyptic scrapped together vibe, like mad max, fallout, borderlands, twisted metal and the WH40k orks. I do expect that they will balance the cars though, lower the firerate on the machine gun or something. Maybe add emp grenades and lockon launchers and we should be good to go. Maybe increase damage to cars by crossbows by 50 as well. Dont think the cars themselves should be nerfed much, just think things sould be added to give people the tools to combat them.
Honestly I am enjoying this season a lot! However I do feel the custom cars you can unlock are strong and could use a little bit of a nerf, if you have it endgame and nobody focusses on you fully (like multiple teams focussing on the car is the only way you can destroy it if you're in Duo's/solo's) then you're almost guaranteed to win. But I mainly just love the pure chaos! Reminds me a lot of Mad Max tbh :D
The only ones I see complaining are the try-hard streamers and "pros" because Epic didn't cater to their play style this season. Adapt and overcome or go touch grass! This season is the best so far because it's fun for casuals and it's exposing all the streamers and "pros" like Ninja and Clix who are actually dog crap at the game. They only sweat in casual lobbies bc they're afraid of ranked mode and taking L's that destroys their ego.
I had zero expectations going into this season since I'm not a hugh fan of the post apocalyptic/Mad Max theme, but I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised. It's actually been really fun. I dig the map and the new locations aren't ugly like I thought they were going to be. Its pretty fun to drive around in the new areas. I had a feeling vehicle combat was going to be a main focus this season and it's really not that bad. Sure in solos it sucks switching seats to operate the turret, but you get use to it. Duos is obviously better and more ideal, but I'm having a good time regardless. The BattlePass is better than expected as well. This season might get old over time, but right now it's new and different. I'm definitely looking more forward to the Marvel season, but I'm having a good time for the time being.
This season is fun, in Squads. If you play solo, it encourages Teaming. I haven't got a win yet. Every time I make it to the top 5, I get killed by somebody with another player sitting in the passenger seat as the gunner.
Great Gameplay, Tabor! Haha I was Laughing Out Loud @ the "Fists of Fury" haha I LOVE this Season!! So Fun! Streamers hate that average players are a little more equal to them in gameplay! We have a chance to not get destroyed! Lol And if we aren't great builders, we can knock down sweaty builds! Lol Epic does such a great job every season! Nice, you got the Victory Umbrella! Those that won a game first day have to wait til update to get the umbrella!
This definitely feels like when my brother and I would smash our RC cars together that we got during Christmas because they were like the rough and tumble ones and so we'd have races and demolition derbies with them and we would take Hot Wheels and just send them flying off of countertops and steps outside, this season goofing around with the cars really really reminded me of it and I hope they don't decide to Nerf everything into Oblivion to where it just becomes outdrive where the sniper is aiming at
I'm having the most fun I've had with the game since the chapter started! the car game play is right up my alley, and the battle pass looks pretty good this season, but I really don't like the weapon pull this season cause it feels like nothing (except for the mythics) stick out and every weapon feels the same
Its super fun. Awesome twisted metal vibe. Alittle over powered vs ground forces maybe release rocket launchers. But overall this season is awesome. Still one of the best games out there
I have really liked this season so far, I am quite happy that their are only 2 medallions. I like that they finally added different SUV types. The only thing I don't like so far, is that everyone is so dang sweaty, which is making this season a little less fun. But I am excited for the new crew pass skin. Overall the season has been really good. But I hope this season breaks the season 3 curse.
This season is just, have a car and survive, or don’t have a car and die. It kinda reminds me of the mechs in season x. It can get overwhelming at times
In zero builds endgame if you're carless, you're pretty doomed. If you're carless and fistless, you might as well lay down in the road and let them run over you.
I played the first few matches as a Fortnite BR.... then gave in and went full Twisted Metal... and my ~40% win rate so far and 5+ K/D says I LOVE this season so far. lol. So to those hating on it. "Change your state of mind and it will go a WHOLE LOT better for ya."
