I always get humbled. Watched half the video of the main tunnel and block offs. And then made small changes and wondered why it didn’t work for me and had to watch the rest of the video to correct it
Hey Larsis, I built this design step by step 1-1 ratio, but 10% of the husks would go to the Devil West trap tunnel and destroy most of its blockoff. I have full trap dura squads and I stand at the Valley AFK spot
hey LARSIS, at 2:58, that start of the path, I figured out why sometimes the husks break thru the wall, if the exploders destroy the floor at the start of the path, they don’t recognize the path / stairs and instead push in thru the block off. best to obverse and also expand floor to the right of the path to make sure it stays connected to regular ground completely.
@@larsis yes, luckily had a purple floor spoke schematic, upgraded it to 3 star and maxed all perks of dura and heals attached, worked flawlessly, your builds are truly the best! keep up the great work

@@larsis In 3 days I started with all your build videos and their updated videos paused every second to know exactly where you build, spend nearly 40k on reperk and a lot of legendary/epic perk up to create all the various traps with various perks and I feel exhausted but happy I'm done for now. I can't even imagine the effort you put into this and to help others so first thing I did just now was use your creator code, I added it. I've spend a lot of vbucks on items over the years so knowing I can do something in return makes me very happy. Like seriously, words cannot express my appreciation. I haven't tried to run endurance yet but hopefully I didn't mess it up lol. I remember when I did twine SSDs like 5? years ago and followed I think Aidan harris or something he had like around a few k subs like 2 years in and today he exploded. Wishing the same thing for you as well. Maybe you will do some nice solo builds for 160x4 missions or other type of non-twine endurance/ssd videos of STW to spice things up or maybe you only like doing the endurance ones fair play either way wishing you the best. And sorry in advance if I bother you with a question in the future, haven't tested your build yet but I did follow everything to a T, from the afk spot you made to every update video to the original builds etc. even made many variants of the same trap so they had the exact same perks as yours. I have a somewhat similar build. I take them down the middle you blocked off and use floor launchers to yeet them over the ridge. But I blocked off the path back up and take them over the lava and around to a geyser. Uses way more structures though.
The main idea of the build is the same, I built the main tunnel far away lile that to avoid the tornado, since it can ruin most of floor and roof traps

I dont think u understand how much i appreciate ur videoss. I first followed glitch tutorials but they dont always work because they over do the glitches. I feel they're okay with a balance. I do your builds then add my own twists which i like how you guide us and use tips. I was struggling hard with ideas for this amp and now I can finally beat it. I do have a question though. Im on defenses right now what do I do when i need the waves that tell you to kill a certain amount? Because the lava pushing designs never count for kills for me. Is that because im on defenses? (Defense 9 rn)
Hey thx, really appreciate that 😊 for the kill count waves with recycle builds, add some ceiling drop traps or electric field traps above the spawn and it will do the job, them remove them after you finish all you storm shieled defenses you can use a xenon bow too to shoot on the spawn and will finish these wave in no tome
2:43 I had a lobber mist monster throwing around here it was really annoying. Should I put ceiling traps there or a lobber shield? 12:30 I had a smasher. A single smasher that decided to go through these block offs. Do I add cones edited on the empty spots inbetween the squares?

7:20 in my base they keep mass-targeting this wall with wall spikes until they destroy it and eventually create the shortcut to reach the amp. I even added the extra block offs mentioned in the update video. What should I do?
@@larsis Yes, I have the pillar but it seems to cause no issues with smashers. Fortunately I was able to find a solution, by making the edited stair at the end of the tunnel straight and not angled like you did (thus still edited, not a straight un-edited ramp)
That's why Pillars inside this tunnel will cause massive issues with husk passing And it may trigger the smashers Also, the edited stair you added will make the path 0.5 tile longer It's not a big deal, but it's better to keep it as short as possible
After the latest patch this amp is the cause of about 90% of my failures. They don't go around they go thru the straight blockoff to the amp. They will pound directly through it. I fail rarely at 4 sometimes on 10 random wave pit and then most of the time on 14 and if not then 24.
Will you be updating this any time soon? No matter how many traps and extra block offs I add the husks always target the main entrance to the tunnel and never go though it, only mist monsters and a few husks go through it

yo this works amazing, altho i commonly have this fail on wave 24, I've tried changing a few things and unable to fix, you got any suggestions? I'm not sure as to what is causing it to fail
Hey larsis another problem I have Is I builded exactly like you did but for me they don’t use the tunnel instead they break the block off to the amplifire an destroy it. Do you know what I could do to fix this ?
using this build for twine SSD 7 and wave 4 they spawn on this amp and most of them go right through all my level 3 walls like theyre nothing and some even go around even if im standing on the side with all the wall launchers and super far away, any tips?

Just wondering how much do specific perks matter. Like if I have the traps but not quite the same perks does that really matter or should I get ones specifically with the right perks?
Depends on the trap, like for the sound walls if you used a lot impact it may cause issues And the wall launchers if you used all of them Impact and durability without durability, they will run out of durability fast and you need to replace them
@larsis I built all of your builds but pit amp failed wave 4 bc block off didn't work you old build worked better so I might rebuild the old one... also I copied everything exactly and I only have 10 extra structures? If I had enough is there a spot to put a mat grinder or is it best not to?

Larsis, there seems to be a problem during wave 4. The tornado is taking husks and shooting them over the whole build and the husks land on the pit amp? Is there any way to fix this.
i found a bug while playing where a flinger would glitch through a piece of block off and be able to throw at the amp, i checked the video to make sure i built it correctly and i did, im gonna try to see if i can fix it but im not 100% sure if i can

if you added walls they will fall down in the lava and die, so it's better to leave it open so they will walk all the way up again to the main tunnel again and again which will save your tunnel traps durability
the build works alright in that most of the husks go to the intended pathway, but smashers, nurses, and blasters all attack the block offs that lead directly to the amplifier. is there a possible fix for this? or is this just the nature of my homebase? edit: i just saw the notes videos for the pit amp and will try and use extra block offs.
You may missed something, I tested twine today twice without any issues Send screenshots for your build on discord, I will check the m tomorrow and tell you what to do
@@larsis durability is critical in this situation so I ll just try to get my traps with it. Is there any fast way I can get the traps needed for the endurance?
They will stuck in the tar pit for sometimes them walk again which gives the wall launchers to push down as many husk as possible But the floor spikes will damage and slow them

@@larsis and then is it alright if the damage roll is green on the wooden floor spikes, or will it not work the same and i’ll have to get one with grey.
If you tested right after you finished building that's why, restart and test again Make sure to stand in the spots I explained in the video to avoid routing the husk Remove the pillar I mentioned that it may cause issues for some people Also make sure not to add any extra structures or traps
Yo anyone have an issue where they break through block of I’m not Ben standing near it they still break trough it and near the start of the tunnel they start beating there aswell
