If anyone wants any advice, I'm nearly done getting the platinum and I will explain my method which I believe is the fastest. If you're starting fresh you want to try to do Play With Others missions as you do the story, and while in these missions do the survivors, explore the zones, and kill any mist monsters you see just to speed up the long process. If you beat the game and are just doing the challenges, here's how I did it. I did the Play With Others first, doing the custom **3-5** missions due to the survivor mission being within that query. Doing that all while exploring every zone and rescuing survivors. By the time I hit 1000 Play With Others, I had about 8100 survivors and 1300 zones explored. Doing the last 2000 survivors was actually very quick, only taking me about 3 days, getting 500 survivors each day and then some. After, I currently need 80 more zones explored and many structures to build, The big flaw for my path was that since I chose a 3-5 mission, no mist monsters spawned therefore I have to grind about 16500 mist monsters by doing an encampment farm in Canny Valley. Doing this also, I will try to explore zones but it's not the highest priority due to the fact that I only need 80. After I eventually get all 20,000 mist monster kills and hopefully the zones, if not then I will farm survivor missions again, I will finish it all off with the structures built with some friends/LFG in my homebase endurance.
fortnite should really give out a platinum trophy banner or like an exclusive pickaxe or something that you can show in game for such a crazy achievement!!!
This deserves at least a million views for the sheer amount of effort this took. I’ve been actively playing this game for almost 5 years and have only completed the mist monster challenge
Just FYI and for anyone going for this. There actually is much better way to grind mist monsters kills. Upgrade your first base defense to level 10, unlocking endless mode (or whatever it's called - it's the one with 30 consecutive waves). Build some good defenses - it may take some time, but you have to do it once - the base is saved once you start a mission, so all traps etc. will stay there. Once you'll have a setup that can go to around wave 20-25 without your input you just have to start a mission, move a little from time to time (so you won't be kicked for being idle) and wait. Your base will do the kills very fast - for me it was over 100 per mission. Yes, it's very time consuming, but pretty much idle. Oh, and in this mode you don't have to finish all 30 waves - whenever you lose it counts as a win, so kills are saved :) Congrats on the plat!
Yes! This is very good to know. I originally got an afk endurance base for levels in Battle Royale when they started implementing BR xp in Save The World. Much to my surprise, this helped with my unspeakable horrors tremendously. Shortly after, I also learned it can help with Talented Builder through an exploit of sorts. It’s hard to explain but I can try if anyone wants to know. So far, those are the only two Grindy challenges I’ve completed, with most very close to completion lol
I assume ur talking about endurance mode after u beat ur 10th ssd defence. Best one to do it in is plankerton beacause in stonewood 2+ hours for only 100 is dumb. Plankerton is better because u can get like 200 or 300+. For the 3hr time span yes it is a bit harder but its more worth the 3hr time. Ofc theres canny and twine that give 500 to 1000 mm per run but they run ur resources down fast.
Congratulations on this achievement. I've been playing Fortnite for 5 years pretty consistently and I still have about 150 play with other missions to do before I get the platinum
as impressive as it is a high amount of crown wins takes skill while this just takes time lmao anyone could do this with enough time but not everyone can get high crown wins
@J's beats Not everyone has the time and dedication to pull off a platinum in this game. Most people either have a life or do not have time to play Fortnite all day, every day.
the best part is that if you complete all of the Trophy Platinums and then play a STW match in xbox you'll get all your current Trophies/achievements that you unlocked in PS4/5 this does work the other way as well we're you get all current achievements on xbox and play a STW match on PlayStation you'll get the same thing, i thought it's a neat bonus that it's shared progression
This video brings back so many memories, one memory I’m not impressed by was back when I played it, even after you saved all 15 survivors, you still had to wait out the entire time, I also have this platinum and I play everyday, all my friend gave up so I was alone for the top 5 grindy trophy’s
Because I played FN battle Royale , it's really hard to say how long I've played Save the World. I do have over +2500 hours on the PS4 version and +760 hours on the PS5 version but that's both battle royale and save the world play time.
Great video! For anyone starting out, I recommend you start with the play with others trophy: turns out any survivors saved, structures built and zones discovered by other players count towards your trophy which means a 1 month grind can really put you ahead in, if not get you, the trophies. Amazing accomplishment man, congrats! I just got the platinum for this game last March. Plays Well With Others was so hard that I had to make an automated macro with 2 accounts to get my 500 matches with storm shields. Also for Talented Builder and Unspeakable Horrors, I feel very bad for you. You could have used a Stonewood Storm shield with its Endurance mode to complete those challenges and also gain all of your materials back. 😢 Anyways, great video!
You are the 0.1% of people who have earned this...congrats and will you ever play stw again? Br has odm gear and battle passes but is stw never to be touched again since its been mastered
The fact he did world explorer as his first quest from the 5 hardest quest in the game, is kinda funny. If u will do the math, world explorer will take the most time to do
This is the most time consuming trophy I’ve ever went after I’ve started in 2018 and only 65% through being stuck in canny valley for 2 years and all the hard challenges less than half completed wish me luck for the next 3 years

I've been binging your videos and enjoying them but something has always felt off and I finally figured it out, I think your thumbnails are a bit too dark and you speak a bit too timidly and quietly, no hate just some constructive criticism, keep up the amazing grinds, they've been super enjoyable

@@TylerAnderson-yp1jxhmm play with others and explorer go pretty much together, I played in stonewood with other trophy hunters so we went directly to the objective and voted quickly. Most of the times I was building around the atlas objective with the B.A.S.E ability which automates the killing of attackers
