Fortnite will NEVER be the same... (CHAPTER 5) 

Here's a theory (mostly spectulation tho). What if the people who kidnapped Peely want to know where the Zero Point is, and since Jones was the one who set off the Big Bang, he would know where the Zero Point is (if its not destroyed), so they are taking Peely hostage in hopes of Jones telling them where the Zero Point is, so they could go take it or whatever. The Zero Point is also most likley not gone, since rifts still exist (floating island) and rifts are created by the Zero Point

I honestly really don’t think the zero point is gone. The big bang expanding from that infinitely tiny singularity that once was the zero point would’ve created the zero point again no matter what. Plus the loop and every function in battle royale is created by the zero point. I believe jones’ and slones mission was to use the big bang to revitalize the zero point and make it healthy again because ever since fracture, The Nothing has been slowly consuming and destroying the zero point, hence why it was in a darkened state for a while and also decided to petrify itself.

I believe the zero point is probably still in the island and may be re revealed in the future with either a reintroduction of an old faction like the seven since it was stated that the scientists was at least still alive. Permanent death in Fortnite seems like a bit of a dark turn for Fortnite

the zero point is least likely to be completely gone. but if it was, it might be a good thing for the storyline. if you don’t think about the storyline from the lore perspective, epic had been relying on the zero point to carry their storyline. without the zero point and starting fresh, they might actually know how to make this story work again

The zero point has to be on the island. The zero point is the source of the loop, the storm, and not to mention the entire omniverse itself.

One thing to note: the zero point is not done. Fortnite confirmed the original map is coming back, and therefore, the zero point.

it would make sense and this could be a sort of "soft reboot" due to the extreme new changes we're getting in chapter 5 which would definitely bring new players in and the soft reboot could be a way for them to not have to learn the whole story for what's happening to make sense

I dont think the story is 100% over but the main part is, because I cannot remember what event it was but other realities had their own zero points (there were multiple ones but the main loop one got destroyed i know) And we still havent gotten any answers to what happened to geno the seven, or amy. Slone even said that this isnt the end between them and she will just lose connection with that specific snapshot of jones, The only way for a snap shot to exist, is for the real one to jump into the zero point so if there are more snap shots, for example bunker jones is a snap shot, then I dont think the story is over.

Super hyped for this fresh start to the story

I was very invested in the fortnite storyline so its kinda sad, I was hoping for the last reality to make a return... Or at least some storyline thing, It was interesting because everything made sense, but why do the society want peely? he's a random character whose supposed to be funny, now hes the main person in the storyline?

jonesy's aging could also be due to the absence of the loop

For those who didn't understand this: The original timeline where we had all chapters has been rebooted because Jones went back to Chapter 1 with the Kado Thorne's stolen time machine to change something Slone told him in the past, so everything that we know has happened since S1 Ch2 has never existed, technically CHAPTER 5 is Chapter 2 rebooted, but in real world we know it is CH 5.

I have a feeling that the black hole wasnt actually a black hole but just the zero point rearranging everything into the chapter2/3 island wich would explain why chapter 2 and 3 had chapter 1 locations but chapter 4 and 5 didnt. This would also explain the big bang event as the zero point could have done the same thing but used the chapter 1 map for something else while creating a new map

Something that I think is that the reasons that the zeropoint isn't (for now) in the island is that the reality we are in isn't the one we're is the zero point kept, if not, in another reality trying to hide from The last reality since without the zero point NOTHING would exist.

I want to note that the explosion looks like the zero bloom so is it a suceed zero point bloom?

The zero point will stabilise itself like it did to create chapter 2 but my theory is that the bridge is the underground part of the map that we saw in the trailer and over chapter 5 season 1 we will keep exploring the underground place and discover the bridge and therefore the zero point and that will lead us into season 2

Im sorry but i remember we've still been left on Chapter 3 Season 2 event. What happened to the Foundation and Jones looking for Genō? What happened to the Scientist and the Visitor after they got turned to liquid? What is happening with the IO as a whole? How are they gonna restart something that they never finished?

Makes sense why movement feels lot more realistic idk why they would change it so drastically if it wasn’t for the story

I get where you're coming from, but the thing is you don't get immediately put in the loop, it's after a bit of time, or if you get pulled into reality 0 by the zero point. And Peely got kidnapped by the Society which is in an entirely different universe, another argument is there a still rifts on the island that bring in loot island, and the island still exists, which, as we know is made to protect the zero point from anyone or anything trying to get it. I know this is my second comment , but the rocket with the Time Machine just rifted away and didn’t get sucked in, pretty sure the machine is still out there in a random galaxy but thats just a small theory because nobody is gonna notice that.

Hey dude, good video, also you missed out on a detail that Midas is alive! you can see him during the Lego universe part. If you go to the Fortnite channel and watch the big bang live event video there, and skip to 4:39, you can see him happy and dancing near a house.

It’s not a reboot but a soft one if it was a hard reboot so much would be different I think old characters will just slowly return. Also the zero point still exist as I think it’s not a singular thing but a spread out energy and each galaxy probably has some shard and if one collects them all they get the zero points power. Also the fact they don’t just die again and all is because it’s the other loop area

when you are the victor of the battle royale, you escape the loop, leaving behind a snapshot, where you are placed into a second loop, as its called. the second loop does not reset and it does not have a storm. you can talk, and you regain your memories from every loop you experienced, but nothing before entering. that is where the cinematics tend to take place. my source is the batman zero comic. anyway, its a shame the new creative director didnt know what to do with the project, and just threw it away.

5:15 Story is weird in fortnite. You could argue the seven and the sevens resistance would be reset mid battle during that season and forget all their memories

There are also some rumors about the fact that the storm is supposed to be protecting the zero point. Therefore the zero point is still on the island but most likely in a very weak state. And peely was kidnapped so the people could get info abt the zero point from jonesy

I was so hyped up to see this awesome climax to the story only to be greeted by a 11 minute advertisement for the new gamemodes 😭. Fortnite lore is in shambles, i think they've given up on telling a story to keep the casual audience. All those tapes on the og map felt so misleading. Also what the fuck was the "memorable reveal" that fortnite promised????

I don't think that the Zero Point is gone. There could be a chance that, like the first black hole event, that it comes back perfectly fine.

there is something that must be clear, there will always be the zero point, since it is the center of everything, if the zero point explodes, the whole reality too, there is always the zero point but it is only hidden and guarded.

I feel like we left the loop because at the part with the squiggly lined illusion after we entered the black hole, bc it looked similar to the zero point during the agency zero point tsunami event where we tried to leave the loop, but failed. OR, this may have been what was supposed to happen after the end event. But instead, all the seasons after the end event added up to the end event. Possibly because there was a time machine which could have tampered the part where we shouldn’t have experienced the glitches. Idk, just a thought

PBJ the Fortnite storyline is actually not over because if the zero point actually died, all of the realities will be destroyed because when the big bang happened originally, it created all realities. So now it’s tying us to all realities or we went into the past where the big bang first happened and I have another thing to say the thing that happened after the black hole was us going into the in between that is the realm of the zero point, so the zero point could’ve gone into the in between and put us back in our dimension but with a fun ride

There is absolutely no way the Zero Point is gone. We’ve seen it get blown up in The End event from Chapter 1 and it came back intact. Why would it be different this time, it got destroyed the exact same way. It’s gonna come back like it came back in Chapter 2 Season 4

I highly doubt the zero point is gone since the big bang is the birth and rebirth of the zero point. However if we remember jones was on an extraction mission. Either peely/us/zero point was extracted. Peely could be just blackmail for jones to reveal the zps location. Or maybe the zp reborn inside peely and thats why the society wanted him. Also the societys logo heavily reminds me of two hands holding smt inside it. Like when you put a hamster in your hand and cover it with the other so it cant escape. So perhaps its a logo of them controlling the zp? And theres also that jones is a rebel kinda like the seven were. Could be that he is constantly battleing ppl so noone gets their hands on the zp. That would also explain jones s tired and rugged look. ...Yeah, i could go on for quite a while.

There was a threat that was seen in space attracted by the Big Bang and it looked like it was The Last Reality it looked like the Cube Cradle so The Last Reality will likely return to destroy the Omniverse in chapter 5 now that the Zero Point seems to be gone however not fully gone otherwise all realities would be gone and even the whole Omniverse would be gone and if we remember Galactus was attracted to the island by a black hole that sent a signal throughout the Omniverse attracting Galactus to it's power and we have to save Peely with the help of the Underground and Jones

There was no storyline in the event afaik. I think you have a really good theory but theres still story in fortnite and if they did end it hopefully they do the next one better because my god so much stuff has gone unexplained in the story.

I think in the Big Bang event we just went inside the zero point and now the zero point exists on the chapter five island all we had to do is go back to reality zero

Also the yacht is back in fortnite and it has the same name and who owned the og yacht from chapter 2 midas i think he might be in charge of the society and might be pulling the strings

One issue I have with this theory, is that while the loop did protect the zero point, it was already possible to leave the loop on the island, and to exist on the island separate from the loop. For example in the batman comics, he left the loop but was still stuck on the island, but without the world resetting every 22 minutes. Additionally characters who die outside the loop do die permanently. With this new season if the zero point is gone either the Fortnite world is continuing to perpetuate the loop without it, or something else is maintaining it. Plus most of the trailers/cinematics happen outside the loop anyways, or at least that’s what I assume, so this could just be an extension of that. So peely is still in danger of perma death, but the loop might not be gone, since both the island with history/story can exist simultaneously with the loop, with the loop acting as a repeating snapshot of the island’s story at any given point in time.

even though the new storyline may be good, it's kind of sad how the whole storyline with the last reality in the end actually leads to nowhere. The cube cradle, the triarchs, none of that matters now, it was all for nothing

Theory: I support your theory, but I don't think that zero point was destroyed, but just somehow moved to another reality like lego fortnite, and if zero point makes a loop, then it makes sense for lego fortnite, we also saw in the animation how brita bomber (I think that's what it's called ) is sucked into the portal, I think that portal made zero point, that's why the mobs respawn, there's no end to the map, we just run, build and collect because we're in a loop that lasts forever

ngl, although I thought big bang event was a bit of a let down I liked it because I never played the original event, I refused to play season x because of the mechs and due to that I didn't play the end event. but I think starting a new storyline would be good as the old one with the zero point kind of dwindled away at the end of chapter 3 all the away to end of chapter 4 , I mean I don't think we ever saw the zero point in chapter 4 at all, it was almost as if they forgot about it. I trust the new storyline guy or whoever he is I forgot his name and I hope he makes Fortnite's story better

I know some people already said this but I do believe that the zero point isn’t destroyed because we have seen in several events that’s the zero point is able to protect itself like (my theory) the zero point destroys the chapter 2/3 map as it realises “hey I’m being infected by something lets nuke it before it can hurt me more” and it pulls in parts of different worlds to protect itself before paradigm did anything so (IN MY THEORY) the zero point self defence mechanism for something massive or impacting collide with it is to push it back but my guess is that due to so many different objects shifting from the meteor it couldn’t be consistent so it try’s to push that energy out again but it already formed into a tiny dot of basically infinite power meaning that it wasn’t just that object it was basically most of the zero point. I don’t think the zero point will be as major as when Donald mustard was in charge but I believe it still should be around the zero point is what makes fortnite so if they just threw it out that would be ridiculous. (Also please note I do speak English it’s my only fluent language my punctuation just sucks so I’ll try to reword parts of anyone who reads this gets confused in the comments)

I have a theory, what if the seven are still alive as well with the IO because if both sides were able to survive the first black hole then they can do it again. Also the place we get shot out into with all of the galaxies and worlds could be the place that we see in the season X trailer. Or maybe because of the time machine the IO became the Society and the seven became the Underground, or the new sides in chapter 5 are completely different, but that's just what I think. And also if the Zero Point was destroyed then how come the same thing didn't happen when the first end event happened? Or maybe it could have been because of thw Time machine. You ever think about it? See the Lego is big but also a lot of crossovers that are already in fortnite are already Legoe Minifigures meaning that there's multiverses inside of a multiverse

I think the zero point isn’t gone and that it does blow up but there will be a small bit of the zero point spread across multiple different multiverses and that we need to go collect the pieces

(Prediction) maybe the society wants peely because they want control of the zero point and the know peely is jones best friend so they stole peely so they could get jones to tell them where the zero point is since jones may know where it is.
