I’m glad the winner wasn’t some big name like Tfue. Gives smaller names more recognition and little kids can finally realize that the big name pros aren’t invincible gods.
This man could have won two to three more rounds if he wanted too. Heck- He may have been able to win them all. But he din't care anymore and you could bloody tell. Is like what they say "He is smiling, he knows." He knew he couldn't be beaten so he took risks because it din't matter to him.
@@Theristisboi Dude yea he was smilling... when he got killed at top 4 in the 6th game!! He didnt know for sure after one game, he just couldn't finish off to a victory royale in the others. Yea he's definitly the best player of FT but dont start sucking him and bringing down the well earned performances for psalm, crue, kreo, skite and dubbs.
@@matissehontebeyrie4811 I'm not doe- Just saying how ahead of the league it was at that point. Overall, I'm just glad he din't start to become toxic or anything. He seemed very respectul to everybody and just kept his cool. That's all I wanted for the person that won. For him to just be a collected person. Meanwhile there was that one guy that started talking shit about everybody without no one ever saying anything negative to him. So yeah- What I'm saying is, if I had double the points at the last round, I would be confident as well. I congrulate everybody doe- Glad to see the majority been friendly.
@@MajorCB211 True that. I gotta give that to you, but still. Players who have very high latency can't compete against players who has low latency. Players with higher latency can't even qualify because of the current state of fortnite(no servers/data centres).
Put simply, a bunch of builds, a bunch of shootings, running away from a giant circle of death. Plus trying to predict other players bunch of builds and bunch of shootings. While praying the circle of death doesn't enclose where they temporarily set up camp.
Wacky D Squared IV dang you mad bro? Did you get rekt your first game so now you have a hate for the game? Lolll it’s amazing how people can hate a person simply because they like a game
He did all the work in the first round and that carried him. After that, all he did was place around top 5 in the rest of the games after getting killed early in game 2. all the bonus point from placing top 10-5 plus the amount of kills he got made him untouchable for the rest of the competition. incredible.
@@aranielleb7718 Except he is in the Top 100 best players of the whole world out of 40million who tried qualify... And except for a few who dominated, all the players could have done better or worse depending on their day, the level is quite close.
Yea and he'll tell his kids how he didn't have to do anything in his life and how because he wasted his time on fortnite, he got everything he ever wanted while hard working citizens are left in the dust. It's bullshit. I applaud him for working hard and not giving up, but he shouldn't get paid 3 million dollars for it. I know people who didn't give up in life who got nothing in return. Please if anyone is reading this comment I ask you to remember this video as a sign to work hard at your goals, not to sit in your room wasting your life on pointless video games🎮
@@spideydude3697 I see you complaining everywhere about "useless video games" and hard working people... Man ur lame, esports and games are the future, admit it or not.. it's the truth. Everyone could've get the money because the qualifiers were free for everybody but he was the best in this cup. The money is well deserved, so stop hating. I have a fulltime job and work really hard but I don't complain about others because I like what I'm doing and not striving for the big money. Your'e just jealous.
@@schokoflogge6749 you are right about him working hard. He did earn it. He did practice. I truly do respect that. But 3 million dollars? Don't you think that's a little much? Maybe like 10,000 dollars, but not 3 million.
@@spideydude3697 stop complaining. you now know the popularity of fortnite right? and u want to work hard right? try winning it next year then. u can get 3 million as well. its free market and its epic's wish to use world cup for marketing and they have tons of money right now
The one thing I din't like about King was his way of being. Calling everybody trash sealed his fate. But I did saw a few posts and I do feel bad in a way I wasn't that supporting of him. At least we got good people on those tops.
nothing to do with the cup but. holy shit this game has come along way. i remember having to wait in spawn island for 5 minutes and end up with only 90 and under people
@@spideydude3697 well still had to work hard for it still the top 1% in the world in that game so it's still impressive even if it's just a "video game" I mean no one says LeBron makes millions over just a "sport".
@@spideydude3697 you probs wont evn be able to comprehend the amount of work that needs to be done in order compete on such a high lvl in this video game. Stay jealous mate.
I don’t know what the hell was going on..but congrats to kid that won! Looked like a packed event too. I didn’t even notice the crowd until the end. This kid just made $3 million doing something he loves. Hard to hate on that.
I must be to old for this game, I like COD, Battlefield, and other 1st person shooters, but this looks like your graphics card is having a melt down, no idea what's up with all the see through buildings
''hey Mom what my future husband is going to be like? I would like him to be very manly'', ''oh honey he may not be very manly but he is going to have an extremely strong one index finger''
Bugha has won in July 2019: -Friday Fortnite Tournament (1st Place) -Fortnite Trio Cash Cup (1st Place) -Fortnite World Cup (1st Place) Bugha is cracked on levels we can't even imagine.
See, I’m from the CS:GO community, and as much as I hate Fortnite and its’ mechanics, I’m glad it took off the way it did. Of course I’m envious because CS:GO prize pools aren’t that large, and the competitive scene has been on for decades. BUT, seeing fortnite get ALL of this exposure, millions of dollars in prizes and millions of people watching, im excited for the positives it is bringing the esports community. As much as I’d love to see CS reign king, it feels good to see people start appreciating esports for what it is.
What a God. Its amazing how skilled these kids are. They are so young. Most kids are at least bughas age before they even start their pro career. But im so glad all of these extremely talented kids can do what they are best at. Their technical skill and speed is beyond any streamer out there. I think Tfue is the best streamer but I dont even know if I could put him in the top 100 watching these monsters demolish
Bughas mom the week before:alright you can have your 5 minutes of the week on fortnite Bugha: muuuuuuuuum The World Cup bughas mum:I knew he’d win after all the 5 minutes he had
I haven't played fortnite in like 2 years. Since when did the ring start moving around like this? I just thought it was stationary band got smaller and smaller?
in competitive it moves around to make it more challenging for players to rotate, but it also makes the gameplay more entertaining, these zones are called moving zones, the stationary ones are only in regular public matches
@@spideydude3697 i literally see you on every single comment talking shit about how he won 3 mil, he was 1 out of 40 million+ people he deserved every bit of that money. its not just as simple as "he won 3 mil from playing fortnite", there is dedication and practicing evolved you can just hop on the game and win 3 mil, so please for the sake of my brain cells shut up
I had a conversation with him the day before and he’s so nice and he was saying he didn’t think he would do that good but there’s a chance and he definitely took that chance
I think they should have done it so that this format for tournaments would be for the qualifying rounds, and then there would be one grand final, winner-take-all game where the ACTUAL winner takes the title.
Francis Edits thank you! csgo is definitely much more of a spectator sport, battle royales are kinda difficult. EVEN when CSGO did the showmatch at IEM Katowice 2019 of their battle royale mode, it wasnt as good to watch as normal comp.
Chrollo Lucilfer that’s so untrue lol. You sound like a 40 year old parent trying to understand video games. This game takes skill so don’t talk about it like it’s for casuals.
King... algun dia lograre lo que tu lograste con tan solo 13 años, yo tambien con 13 años lo estoy luchando entrenando todos los dias y algun dia voy a ganar el mundial de fortnite...
My dad just met the champion a few days ago at Universal Studios / City Walk cause my dad was working there ( as a sheriff ) so that was pretty cool.. I shoulda been there..
Dude was extraordinarily calm about that. I guess he didn’t exactly understand what that meant for him and his family. 3 mil is enough to support him, his family, and probably his children for their entire lives. Just hope he doesn’t blow it all being a kid. Needs to spend it wisely.
@Cinca Laura Better yet, you really think by him been 16 he would spend all that? He's a teen. Not stupid. He probably took it calmly because for him this is just another casual day on the game. If I'm not mistaken alot of the ones there did say he would win because he was very balanced. With this I mean, position, kills and placement he always does well.
I'm an old dude(32). I like battle royale but Fortnite is something else to observe and play. Maybe i'm to slow in the brain. It doesn't do anything for me personally. I like pubg better.
@@TheJubess OLD OLD?? i'm the same age as ou dude haha, fortnite just doesn't do anything for me either, think its the building aspect of it and the over-polygon shapes, Apex on the other hand.. :) but an hour here and there, not like 12 hour grinds or whatever kids do nowadays...
