Hidden Gems I played the course for the 1st time in July this year with my wife, an absolute fantastic course. We saw dolphins when we were on the 4th green. It’s one of my absolute favorite course’s - Fantastic.
Glad you all enjoyed it, a course I play regularly on the seniors open tour and love it, sometimes get the dolphins leaping while playing. For Simon's info, that was a gentle breeze on a windy day I've seen people hit woods to that little par 3. I live in Inverness and you have now done 4 of the courses I play senior opens on, we're very lucky in this part of the world.
I played at Fortrose for the first time in 1975. I have made a point of playing there as much as possible since. A tremendous traditional fun and challenging links and always in perfect condition. Can’t be missed on a trip north.
Hidden Gems. Definitely a hidden gem Liam but a real test of golf in that wind but on the coast you have to expect it, you guys are certainly having so fun.
Great to see all of you together. Golf is such a great game. Played with my son in law at the Ocean course at Kiawah Island. Shot 82 from the governor's tees. Not bad for a 70 year old.
I keep coming back to this series as life gets harder and harder. It is such a joyful series and makes me happy . I've only played golf about ten times in my life, hitting balls with a found of set of clubs in a harvested wheat field with mates . I'm 53 now and will never afford to be able to learn, but this channel makes me happy . I discovered you back in 2022? and have not missed an episode .
One of the true 'hidden gems'. I've never played the course, but have driven or walked through the course to watch dolphins from Channonry Point by the lighthouse. The views over to Fort George are spectacular, and the course looks OK too!!!
Hidden Gems... The three of you are great but Mrs. Payne would have been a great addition. I would love to see her and Mr. Barlow battle again. Cheers guys...
Hidden Gems. Listen to the doctor and the birdies appear 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 These courses are stunning. Gonna do a tour of Scotland next year of the back of this series. Looks unreal.
Hidden Gems indeed! We have a course like this in Maine ... my treat if you ever make the trip to my fair state Liam. I'll even spring for Mr. Barlow's lost golf balls!
Hidden gems, played there a few years ago, stunning, it's the only golf course that I've ever seen a seal out in the bay when playing a shot and I've played a few courses up that way, your just spoiled for choices of stunning places, it's about the views as much as it is the courses, if you boys are playing up that neck of the woods for this series then I'm as jealous as you are lucky, and congratulations to Simon, that's some cracking golf in tricky conditions, cheers lads, enjoy 😫
Hidden Gems played it a few years ago Liam with my Son what a fantastic golf course, my wife walked along the beach to see the dolphins, magical place another hidden gem, Spey Bay cheers Peter
