Guys head to Vegas from June 23-25th, its HappyFaceHoldems bday on the 24th; and myself, ThinkBluePoker, FishPoker, Jeff Stimson, and Close2Broke will also be there. We booked our rooms today at Harrahs.
What's good Doug? We're all proud of how far your channel has come so far and keep it up . Stay blessed.. as for me I have been ona. Huge down swing and I've lost over 6K this year so I hope to God the other half will be better. On the 24th at my casino for 12hrs they have a drawing evey 30min for 100-500$ and at 12am there's a 20K drawing. I haven't played in weeks since RI got screwed last time.. take care man
Missed your vlogs - thought you may be ill. Welcome back. Funny I had an exact same hand situation. I had JJ flop came J78 just like your flop. opponent had the 9-10. board didnt pair. ouch
I’m fine, been busy with the family. Ouch, JJ on that flop, I would be happy to get my chips in. My hand the most likely value shove was 87s, most likely shove was a combo draw, easy call.
Was close to jamming, then I realized he would probably bluff the turn with KQ also. His body language was to comfortable, it felt like he got there. My passive check on the flop got me in trouble, a bet would probably take it down. Even if he floats the flop, I would continue on the turn and price him out.
Nice vlog Doug, I would rate your play a "B" bcz you know you made some mistakes sometimes you don't realize your own mistakes and how a hand was played.
Damn, you could’ve gotten stacks in on the first hand since he also had an 8. Nevertheless, you booked a win while still realizing it could’ve been better. Good work!
Don’t think stacks were going in but a check raise to 60 and a 100 on the river were likely. Lost out on value in several situations this session. I need to do better.
It was questionable to 3 bet that hand. Felt my table image would get folds. It was risky, didn’t think he had much and my range looked stronger than his. Glad it worked.
Doug a win is a win, sometimes it better to be lucky than play good. Out of all the other poker vloggers out there I think you have the most realistic content and show losing sessions along with the winners. Not naming any names but those guys vlogging down in Florida cherry pick their sessions and only show wins.
I didn’t play well, but I thought it was appropriate to show some of the bad plays I made. I don’t judge other vloggers for their wins and losses. Heaters happen, I’ve had a few in my playing career.
@@dougmccuskerpoker I agree with you but when a vlogger posts 15 sessions and never books a loss it throws up a huge red flag and I did call him out on it! I have a good friend who has played against the vlogger in question and my friend stacked him in multiple occasions so I know he is just cherry picking the content he is uploading!
@@waynebar5604 I’ve won 34 sessions in a row before back when I was playing limit. If someone edits their results, it will eventually show in their bankroll.
@@drdrayfromla99 precisely, I guess when you are a college kid driving a new jaguar and obviously playing poker with momma and daddy money I guess you can make your own rules. If I ever get down to South Florida I would like to look him up and see if he can take my money! Or if he comes to NC to Harrah's Cherokee I will be more than happy to meet up with him!
I Noticed when you have a good hand or nuts , you check and play passively , or betting super small When you have a weak hand start raising and bluffing ))
Some casinos are not vlogger friendly and I do not record. My home casino is vlogger friendly so I vlog mostly from there. When I travel elsewhere, I check with other vloggers to see which casinos are vlogger friendly. I always try to protect people’s privacy.
not raising with Q8c was FINE!!! with any other river, you get ALL his money if he has an 8 AND you get more money from him if he was bluffing on the turn since he will bet the river.
I think the best play is to raise the turn before a scare card can come and freeze the action. It also improves my image as an aggressive player who is willing to check raise.
If I was making hands I may show the bluff for action. I was card dead so I wanted fold equity for my next steal. It’s probably better not to give any information out.
