Forward Charging AR15 Rifle by Falcon Design

Someone else already did it about 15 years ago and it was banned, hence why no one else bothered.

It doesn't fit the definition of a pump action: [F242(2A) In this Act “self-loading” and “pump-action” in relation to any weapon mean respectively that it is designed or adapted (otherwise than as mentioned in section 5(1) (a)) so that it is automatically re-loaded or that it is so designed or adapted that it is re-loaded by the manual operation of the fore-end or forestock of the weapon. The handguard (fore-end) doesn't move and is not manualy operated to reload it. It's basically the same as a side charger just with the handle mounted in the hanguard.

Further to the definition this has also been check by UK firearms forensic specialists who have written reports on it's clasification as Section 1. The reports have been cirulated to FELWG, The Home Office and local licensing departsments for comment and objections. None were recived.

@@Gunroomtv It fits the definition of pump action. In your comments you recognise that the handguard is a fore-end. The video clearly states that the system is available as a handguard (or custom rifle). The Titanium Charging Rod shown in the video is an integral part of the supplied Handguard. It also looks very much like the handguard has been designed to accommodate the forward charging handle (there is an area free of picatinny castellations to facilitate movement of the charging handle). Presumably there is a cut-out in the top of the handguard to permit the charging handle to connect with the charging rod. As the Charging Rod and Charging Handle are supplied with the Handguard and the Handguard has been designed to work with those two components, it is unambiguously clear that the charging handle and the charging rod are integral parts of the Handguard for the Forward Charging System. Handguard is synonymous with Fore-end. Therefore, by using the charging handle on the Forward Charging System you are by definition re-loading by manual operation of the fore-end. We live in a country where the courts have accepted that a folding lock-knife is not actually a folding knife. You would have to be a special kind of delusional to believe that the courts won’t accept this system fits the section 57 (2A) definition of pump-action.
