This sums up that Forza Motorsport 7 is an amazing game. Absolutely astonishing. 12/10 IGN Would play again. Multiplayer Experience is phenomenal.

This crap right here is why i will never buy another Turn 10 game, They have let Forza go down hill especially with the online community. There is no Penalty system in place to keep the crap players out of the online races. The hoppers are a Joke, All online races should have Sim Settings. The game is just not what it should be at this point in Turn 10s state. Hell Even GT Sport has a decent penalty system to help shed some of the Crap players online

Yup, this was the tipping point for me. If I ever want to get myself a current-gen racing sim, It'll be Gran Turismo Sport. I play Assetto Corsa right now, and I've NEVER seen low quality driving like this...

So I had a thought. It feels like Horizons 3 brought a lot of new players into the franchise, it was a big game. I reckon that a lot of those new players bought into Forza 7 assuming that it was a continuation of the Horizons experience. Obviously that game is a lot more casual and messy. I think that it has infected 7 with that same attitude of just throwing yourself into races.

This video really does sum up online play in Forza 7, and quite frankly, the game in general. I have played every Forza game except the very first one, and I can say this one has been the biggest disappointment for me. The issues with online racing haven't been addressed at all, nor have issues with AI drivers in single player. All they did is add more loot box crap to the game, bump up the graphics to 4K, and called it a day. 2 years in development and that is all Turn 10 could do. Unfortunately I can't get a refund or trade it in because I bought it digitally, but I'm done with the Motorsport series. I refuse to buy any more of them until they take these issues seriously and fix them, instead of being lazy and just trying to cash in without really changing much. This garbage is why I feel Gran Turismo Sport is a far superior game. It may not have as much content yet, but what is there is better, especially online racing.

I have to agree that the standards of play aren't that high. If you can competently keep your car on the track, and have decent control with most assists off, and don't get immediately murdered you can do well. I had never played any Forza game online until Forza 7, just raced against pro and unbeatable AI. Hopped online and consistently finished in third to fifth place unless I got murdered by a rammer at some point in the race. That's really telling about most people's skill cuz I ain't that good. I just pay attention.

Online so bad that it looks fun 😂, I would never buy this crap but sure is entertaining to watch. I appreciate your service going through this pain for us.

The minute you see a limo in a lobby, you know there's going to be trouble :P It almost feels like Horizon has more civilised racing than Motorsport these days. While I do encounter the odd idiot in FH3, I encounter far more in FM7. Hopefully when leagues are released, things will start to improve. Hopefully...

Ay bumpy made it in :D I mainly noticed the competitiveness is worse, I did like 10-ish races in S class with a 2013 Viper (not an extraordinary car) and won all but 1. Pole every time in a lobby with like 19-20 people. The main issue was getting to the front in the first race xD

First i got mad watching this after playing GT sport. And watching SuperGT play GT sport. But now im just laughing my ass off from start to finish xD this game is ridiculous.

Quantity isn't quality. The quality of online races in Forza are poor. I really want a PS4 to play GTS. I don't care if the game has a few cars and tracks, as I said quantity isn't quality

There are some physics elements puts this game ahead of the competition, making it realistic. I jus hope that T10 keep improving their own style. The online players are real pain, though.

I've place the blame for the abysmal racing conditions in multiplayer hoppers squarely on Turn10. They've done virtually nothing to deal with it.

I kinda like FM7 Multiplaer now. I mean it's not like you experience clean driving there...it's very fun though, especially the survival part xD

S class hopper is absolutely awful, but I had 10 races in the "classics never die" hopper yesterday and I only got hit once! And that was from the fastest guy in the lobby because I was "blocking". Try it, it's full of respectful drivers that race cleanly. I'm never going totouch S class again

Someone needs to sit down with Dan Memeawalt and show him a side by side comparison of the race at COTA and a GT Sport vid from either Super GT or Setted and just bring him to reality. I bet you he will be completely ashamed and will have many passionate, heart warming and inspirational things to say. I imagine it goes something like this: "Just look at the textures of the sky, they really are amazing and we have 700 forzavista cars!"

T10 knows the issues with MP, clearly they refuse to implement anything. This game has been a major let down. GT Sport has been a much better experience. Pains me to say that, but it’s nice to be back “home”

Porsches are very tail happy. This is even more pronounced in gran turismo. You can feel the weight of the rear and if you lose it you lose it.

Well, the Porsche GT2 you drive in the introduction was the reason I ignored this game for about half a year after getting Windows10. You do the same race in the demo but with two laps and it just isn't any good.

The S class hopper is by far the worst offender. Some good racing in the other divisional hoppers.

That last race is every race I get into... Is there a game that is more suited to clean racing that is Xbox/PC?

Having to make-do with watching your content instead of playing FM7 myself...Turn 10 somehow managed to corrupt / delete all of my progress when I was car collector level 39 and driver level somewhere in the 150+ range (had every car in the game too). I can't play the game at all right now because I have to wait for them to find a fix for their fuckery...pissed off is an understatement, but at least it's someone else getting hit by n00bs and knobs in your videos and I can just sit back and chuckle =]

Now I know why I quit playing Forza 7 online. For heaven's sake, I even went back to Forza 6: it felt like heaven. Turn 10 should bring a huge update, doesn't even need a enalty system as that would be difficult to implement, just a driver rating system so the good drivers can race with each other.

Forza is a fun and well made game. There is nothing wrong with players that enjoy it. Comparing it to GT is a joke. Watching that GTR skid sideways to a stop and then take off again without losing a position.

It's not a problem with the game, but a problem with the racers. The game doesn't make people bad at racing - it's just played by a lot of bad racers. Yes, Turn 10 could do a lot better with ghosting and with lobbies separated by skill. That said, even GT Sport has major issues with new (or bad) racers just spinning out or ignoring their brakes or whatever else. Even GT Sport has issues with bad racers being thrown into a lobby full of people that actually take the game seriously. Why do I say "Even GT Sport"? Because it's far better at the online system when it comes to ghosting and matchmaking. This is an issue for every racing game if its popular enough. Project Cars weeds these guys out since the newbies can't even make it around the track, and they invariably end up putting the game away. Same with Assetto Corsa. iRacing weeds them out by requiring people to pay for the privilege of racing in leagues, and if you're a hack, you won't even get a chance to race. Popular racers like Forza and Gran Turismo - regardless of what they do - will always have a bunch of beginners and track-trolls running around causing problems. Don't put so much blame on Turn 10. When you say you shouldn't be hitting people head-on in a race, blame the guys that cause those wrecks.

The S class hoppers seem to be worse than any other. The best racers and races tend to be in the endurance hopper and exotic GT hoppers.. had some epic races in there.
