Forza Horizon 2 : Fast And Furious - Xbox 360 vs Xbox One (Map, Graphics, Nitrous)

The main thing I noticed when I played the 360 version is that I couldn't take the same shortcuts that I could on the One version obviously because there are way more barriers, I also felt like the race against the Attack Helicopter was slightly more difficult on the 360.

Xbox 360 is also missing dynamic weather changes and some of the challenges are slightly different. BTW there are only 20 boards in the 360 version.

The footage from the Xbox 360 version looks like GTA 4

Also another big fact about the 360 version is that the cars from the Fast and Furious DLC dont transfer over to the normal Forza Horizon 2, you cant purchase the Fast and Furious cars on the normal base game

I don't think people know that the Xbox 360 version is was made by a different group. On the Xbox One version, it was made by Turn 10 and Playground Games where as the 360 version was made by Sumo Digital and Turn 10. That's why the graphics and everything else is different from the Xbox One version.

The races are also different. There are way more point to point races in the One version, and there aren't any of those "drag" races that are in the 360 version. The 360 version doesn't have multiplayer either. They're very similar games, yet very different games.

Why are people complaining that developers are not paying attention to last gen consoles? Seriously!? The 360 is 10 YEARS OLD! And they're STILL games being made for it! The PS3 is knocking on the door of being a decade old, and guess what? Games are still being made for it. Of course developers are going to put the 360 and PS3 into retirement. It happens. I say last gen gamers *(7th gen players)* has been treated like kings and queens this generation. Games are still being developed on old hardware, and in my opinion they square up FLAWLESSLY for such old tech. If you want the newest and hottest games for the future? I'm sorry to say, you need to retire those old systems and upgrade to a new one. That's what I did. It twisted my stomach. And sure, I wanted to use that cash for more things besides an Xbox One. But they're way too many games I wanted that's coming out for that system, and it was selling for a killer bargain deal price, so I went and pulled the trigger. 7th gen had it's long ride, but it's time to hang it up guys. Let developers work more on games for the *current* generation. Which is *NOT* the 360/PS3/Wii anymore. *DONE*

AR12Gaming on the 360 loads of roads are bumpy even in the base game u can also faze through the ground in a magnitude of places

you missed something. in the final race for the xbox 360, they didn't include all the cars that you collected

the graphics sucks on 360 the grass isnt high like xbox1 and the turbo isnt like how xbox 1 is it like fake on 360 its quit when u put the view to cockpit On xbox1 its sound so good. but thats all i have to say.

In a lot of places on the Xbox one you have tote freedom of going off road. Really limited on 360

I have xbox 360 and BEAT the game on the airport there is a small shortcut that will definately grant u a win

the 360 has a glitch were you can go to sisteron u go to a corner and go past a road block to a house or shop and u can drive through the wall to sisteron

Man the xbox 360 version sucks compared to the xbox one version in almost every category. And the xbox 360 has horrible graphics...this happening to almost all new games coming out and I think they need to stop making games for old gen consoles and completely focus on the new systems.

Because on Xbox 360 during the loading of the game it is indicated that we can even race with hot air balloons or something like that After as on Xbox One there are 37 hot air balloons to challenge during the race without the DLC Forza Horizon 2 Fast and Furious there must be at least 3 minimum with the DLC Forza Horizon 2 Fast and Furious for the Xbox 360 Since the first Forza Horizon released in 2012 on Xbox 360 there is the hot air balloon race but with only 3 hot air balloons because I don't think Xbox 360 could handle up to 37 hot air balloons To finish I come from France I use the Google translation application I only speak French I await a response to your message thank you End

theres a glitch on the 360 on the salt flats whr if ur in a specefic place you just fall right through the floor (this game is FULL of glitches)

Hey Nick I've been testing a few cars on normal forza horizon 2 and the corvette works good the traction is kinda horrible so can you make a video of a good drifting setup for the corvette

On 360 my game is broken when flip or drive threw a road block it respawns me at a road you can't drive on and its pretty cool but why did they close the roads off.

I got finish with the forza horizon 2 fast and furious on xbox 360. there is alot of stuff that they have to fix cause i was driving my Bugatti and drifted this corner and for some reason I went underneath the map . when I spawned on top of the map again my Bugatti didn't have wheels so I couldn't move but I ended up fast travel to my garage I still didn't have wheel i enter my garage and my Bugatti still didnt have wheels. so I switch to a different car and went back in my garage and i took out my bugatti and the wheel was back I just though it was funny so if that happens to you lucky you LOL

It took me 2 times to do the last advent

I'm confused is it a stand alone game or add on to forza horizon 2

On x360 there are just 20 reward boards....

i have a problem on the xbox360 version where after completeng most of the events on the map the rest of the events for some reason dont spawn and i cant play them. like i cant unlock the Maserati and they dont give me the final race. does anyone else have that too?

I love how they didnt even hide the fact that the 360 version is designed to force you on xbox one. If they wanted they could make it the same area, maybe with a couple loading screens but Im not buying it that the 360 cant handle having the whole map.

Another difference is that the sky in the Xbox 360 version of the Fast & Furious standalone expansion is very different from the Xbox 360 version of the main game. I think that the sky is ported from the first Forza Horizon game. I just wanted to point that out since nobody did.

X360 Better Graphics On Garage

another couple of things i noticed on the 360 -car sounds are weird, the P1 sounds like a 4 cylinder crappy thing, i remember playing a demo of forza 5 in a store and the P1 sounded magical -the cars feel slower than the One, i was driving the veyron before and at 300+ km/h it felt like 120km/h -also, almost no traffic..goin' fast on the highway? piece of cake..

Regardless of all the hate for the 360, i think it's still doing an amazing job, performance and graphics wise. For a console (or PC) that's from 2005.. You can't really ask much more.

one of the reasons for the xbox 360 version sucking is that sumo digital programed the game instead of turn 10. The guys from fast and furious contacted turn ten about the game and then they passed it over to sumo digital for the xbox 360. one of the lead programmers (peter harrop) actually went to the same school as me and so i got to meet him and i asked him why the xbox 360 version is so bad he said it was because the xbox 360 couldn't handle it so they had to dub it down. Sumo digital does a really bad job at programming though as in the original forza horizon 2 cars sink under grass and at some points the road gets really bumpy like at the end of the docks. overall dont buy xbox 360 version and don't trust sumo digital. my rant over

To really experience the 360 beauty, (It's really nice irl) you have to play it to experience the beauty of it.

IMO FH1 looks better than FH2 I was so hyped for it when it dropped since I loved horizon so much but I was disappointed with the shitty gameplay physics and graphics

I had it downloaded and waited until a couple days ago to install the game in the internal memory of the 360. I thought this was an extension, but I could play it separately from the original game lmao. Btw the reward board I only found 20 of them too

That rough road glitch on 360 is in a few places like the motorway, I haven't played 360 I've watched videos on youtube about it :)

The 360 version does indeed use a Plymouth Road Runner. Also there is 20 reward boards and whatever idiot said that I find you and say "here's Johnny!" Also showcase events barely exist in the 360 version. Hehe funny glitch. I also think that the missing areas in the 360 version had to do with budget and maybe storage space. Also the game is very barren and no A.I. drivers can be seen, well barely.

I don't know why that's different in the 360 version? Son, I'm gonna give you the 8th grade English teacher speech. Do some more research! Don't know how it happens? Find out! the reason why you can't slide around on the containers is due to the limitations of the Xbox 360. There is more processing, more ram and better graphics in the Xbox one, therefore the game can be marginally better.

The cars in the Xbox 360 version are slower than the ones on the Xbox One version. For example, Dom's Charger is S1 900 on the Xbox One, but on the Xbox 360 Dom's Charger is only A 757.

Us xbox 360 users who can't afford an Xbox one need an update for better graphic, terrain, car noises and nitrous expansion just like the Xbox one owners do. It's great that they added new cars a blower(supercharger for charger r/t) and nitrous but we need exactly what the Xbox one owners have in order to have a good DLC!

You also forgot to mention the fact we cant play online in the 360 version. Plus we all know why the opened the docks and the map is closed off in the 360 version. When people go to buy the full game on 360 they are going to be disappointed with the game. Thus they are going to be jealous of everyone that has a Xbone like myself and go out and buy it when they have the money to play this game and many others.

Everything must be closed on 360 to save space, Xbox One games are written on Blu-Ray discs, which have a higher storage capacity.

When i played fh2 f&f i thought that bumpy thing at the docks were invis parts that makes the graphics suck LOL

The XB1 deff looks superior from a graphics perspective but you have to admit the 360 only looks as inferior as it does because they chose to cut corners on the dated hardware to make some extra money on a franchise nameplate. This game could have been great on the 360 but so is the life of a 10 year old system.

I really dislike the fact that they pushed us to buy the Xbox One.. As if it's not enough that we bought the game, or buy DLC, but now we have to buy an entirely separate console to get some of the actually cool things..
