If you are trying to do co-op races and the event keeps failing, my buddy n i found a work around... The host go and setup a race, n let it fail once. (the people your with do not attempt to connect to this game attempt) Set it up again, and have the 2nd (or multiple people) connect to the race, by pressing LB on the map and joining that way. works everytime.
