Hey everyone.. Due to RU-vid completely destroying the compression rate of my latest Xbox FH4 Comparison video, I've decided to not only create a new one but create A MUCH BETTER ONE addressing different comparisons requested from you guys in the comments. I point blank refuse to release something half arsed so made sure to cover things that clearly show a difference other than just load times (Which is also improved since my latest video) A few extra things I've covered in the video are as followed - 1: Drag Race (Stock Car) With Millisecond accuracy for a cool comparison (You'll see why) 2: Drag Race Splitscreen. 3: 700+ Car Selection Scrolling (Series X Dominates this) 4: Quick Car Select (Series X Dominates this too) 5: Real Time Comparison between cars (Improved loads from last video to showcase the clear difference) 6: New Game Start Timer (From Xbox Dashboard to driving in just 40 seconds) 7: Timer runs on X4 the speed once one Xbox Series X is complete. 8: Goliath Start with Higher Fidelity 9: Checkpoint timer with Higher Fidelity 10: Full Race running Ultra 4K 60FPS I hope you like it, Thank you watching :) ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ DJS Twitch - www.twitch.tv/donjoewonsongyt Drop a like if you enjoyed the video, Show support and share the video with your friends and PLEASE let me know in the comment section if you would like to see more of these. This is awesome, thank you so much for really presenting the performance increases of the Series X! Love your editing style as always, especially the Like A Boss videos and the tuning showcases, and for music suggestions from your background music, cause apparently my Law teacher thinks Engaged absolutely slaps. Time to have your cake at 4K and eat it at 60fps too!
I'm still using the Xbox One S & PS4 base models on a 32" Samsung LED TV @720p .... This still isn't impressive to me at all. It looks SLIGHTLY better than the Xbox One currently.. I'd wait until they bring out some true next gen titles before dropping money on a PS5 or Xbox Series X. The UI & controller being identical to the Xbox One is a huge deterrent for me.
Can't tell if you're joking but the game doesn't store this in memory. It starts loading them ones you try to go through the list and it's pretty slow. The SSD in the newer console along with the hardware makes all that instant along with boot time and loading in and out of games along with performance those are the main differences. I only sorta see a difference in graphics here and there reflections mainly.
It’s a glitch it only says that because of the new ios 14 and the new way that Apple uses port rate mode I thaught the same thing about my 3 year old iPad lol
depending on your phone, it only goes up to 720p or 1080p, just cause you can select 2160p doesnt mean your phone will play it in that resolution. it will be no different when comparing from 1080p to 2160p
From what I have heard it has a specific reason. The original version uses 2 different car models, one for the showroom and camera mode, and one for the actual driving (well it's the same model just tuned down to get the best performance). The Series X version of the game is supposed to only use the showroom model, so it looks waaaay better.
This was the most beautiful looking racing game I'd ever seen back on the One X and now on the Series X it looks better than ever. Forza Horizon is the series that made me like racing games, can't wait to spend days just driving through the Scottish countryside.
No it doesn't. It's actually missing a lot of graphical features from the One X version's Quality mode. It's basically the 60 fps mode from the One X version but in 4k and no option to change from a quality mode or high framerate mode like on the One X.
@@JeffZ1028 Hopefully they add the 30FPS visual mode back in then for those that want it. I'm not sure if I could go back to 30FPS but I understand why some would rather have nicer visuals.
I'm amazed yet not surprised at how well the Xbox one X stands up against the series X. I for one won't be upgrading for a good while yet, especially as I mainly just play Forza horizon
Ok thought I better post a follow up. So I bit the bullet and bought a series X! There is definitely a noticeable improvement particularly how fluid the game runs and the sharper visuals. Load times is so much better of course, I couldn't resist upgrading and don't regret it
Those tree’s better have no or less missing pixels when capturing shots from certain distances. Reason being it still bugs me when I am trying to edit my shots and I have to redraw tree’s even though such a issue shouldn’t occur.
They save some pinxels right there, dev trickery, but yeah, in photo mode debris should be fully rendered. Its not uncommon tho, most games with some sort of destruction tend to do that
Yup, everything in the distance looks like shit on this game. Even at 4K it looks awfully jagged. Thankfully everything else looks great and isn't too noticeable when your going at 100MPH.
Thats how it is for me. The improved graphics and smoother game play are a bonus. I prefer the faster load times. Especially in forza or in destiny 2. Both of which have notoriously long load times on my initial release Xbox One. (litterally been rocking an Xbox one since Christmas 2013)
Yeah well I think out view is justified when we wait 2 minutes just so we can get into the game, or half a minute to teleport anywhere. And finally I don't have to wait 2 hours so my garage stops loading.
@@barissssp nah, nah, nah, nah, and nah we've done been to america, France and Italy, Australia, and the uk so I can speak for everyone in the forza and especially the RU-vid communities that we definitely need to go to somewhere in Asia like ahem JAPAN who's with me
Idk what it is, but every time I hear that outro song I get so much nostalgia from your older FH3 vids man. You’ve come a long way and I hope you keep pushing man ❤️❤️
It's sad to know that just this happened to the FH3 on the Xbox One when the Xbox One X arrived. _(Own experience and what good memories)_ Personally I will wait a while, maybe later i will make the jump from X to X Series; I have to make good use of what he still has.
I don’t see the point in upgrading from a One X to a Series X both look the same to me as far as graphics lol I couldn’t even tell the difference. Don’t get me wrong I’m a huge Xbox fan and I love Forza games, but the only reason I would probably upgrade from a One X to Series X is new games and exclusives for the system.
The Xbox One X is a really powerful box ! I’ve had mine for 3 years and games look phenomenal ! I’ll be getting the Halo Xbox Series X tomorrow. Can’t wait to test it out😭
I was fortunate enough to get a series X. Coming from the OG Xbox to the series X, it ridiculous how fast games load now. I had to change my gaming routine to not go get a drink while a game is loading. Not to mention quick resume even make games pop up even faster.
The main difference here is 4k @ 60 vs 4k @ 30. Graphically speaking the series x in this game has better shading and contrast but overall the graphics aren't that much better which is to be expected.
@@vwol becuase Sony dont care about us. First the pre order problems , all this lies about ultra fast ssd , 70$ games , cant use old controller on new console etc. Its not like ps5 is a bad thing , its just Sony treats us like shit.
@@purplesuicide2879 Thats because Sony wants to make money cause ps5 is a big part of their revenue, Microsoft can focus on making gaming better for gamers cause Xbox is a mínimal part of their revenue.
Graphical improvements are going to be so subtle this generation even further into it. Don't get too excited about graphics. Won't be much change from last gen.
I greatly appreciate the comparison video. Made my decision to allow the upgraded version install on my s series a lot clearer. I definitely can't wait till it finishes upgrading now. Keep up the awesome work. Ps thank you for having standards regarding what content you post for us.
@@wg8561 oh I didn’t know that, the only Xbox version I have played is on Xbox one s and it sucks to play compared to pc, low frame rate and average visuals
@@vandammage1747 yeah especially considering if you wanted a comparable experience on pc you would struggle to get anything close to this for the same price at the moment
It always amuses me how your Forza videos are often higher quality than the official videos Forza outs out. Playground Games should of hired you ages ago, just my opinion.
In the coming years youre going to want it, and the price isnt going to get lower. Im getting it as soon as I can, but it's not worth fighting to rn. Imo just get it sooner bc you're probably going to be out 500 now or later.
Its great and impressive, but I want to see the true potential of the Xbox Series X, when there is a game launched ONLY on that system and not being compatible.
The xbox one x runs at 4k 60fps and the series X too.Spending 500€ and more just for a faster hard-drive is a stupid move.If I need faster loading I could buy a new ssd for my one x for 50€ or less. But I don't need to
I've got an SSD in my One X and it takes no more than 1 minute 20 seconds to be driving a car. And it probably takes the same amount of time as the Series X to swap cars while anywhere on the map. It was a worthwhile investment. I'll be getting a Series X next year though
@@jordinhocharles my dad installed it. I've had this kind of speed for over 2 years. He bought the one X and hard drive at the same time. Did the upgrade before giving me the new Xbox. It's a million times better than my OG Xbox one. He is getting me a series X. But only once the first batches are out and they fixed all the faults. He does not want day one problems. Dad knows best I guess. 👌
This game is one the reasons I've decided to see if I can get my hands on a Series X on Tuesday. I enjoyed the game but the piss poor performance of the OG XB1 killed my desire to play any Xbox games and I wasn't going to spend another $400 on the One X to get the experience that was promised with the OG XB, so all of my time has been spent on my PS4 Pro since then. Thanks for taking the time to do the comparison, it helped me make up my mind to get the Series X rather than pass on it.
Improvements looking fire, but I want the 30fps mode to return asap. I hate the 4k 60 forced option cause some gamers experience will be ruined by a uncontrollable experience
I don't doubt the extreme performance difference from xb1 to series x, but you won't really notice the difference while playing especially once you've adapted. The new games will be crazy though. The speed of loading is great though.
Wooooha, thank you, so this is what an AMD rig can do.....this is a good reference to use when you decide on the next gen VGAs and the next gen ryzen also....(and to decide either to buy a 4K monitor&rig or not....
in series X the car models are in much higher poly counts than the previous gen. so series X is being able to load high-resolution models in realtime and reflections are miles ahead of previous-gen console.
The world is so unfair, these guys fighting over xbox series x and ps5 while me still wanting to purchase a used ps2 on christmas sale. These differences in incomes creates all the suffering and pains. We have enough resources to feed everyone in world yet around 20% are unfed or under nourished.
I recently upgraded from the original xbox one to the series s, and i can deff say its an upgrade, its super fast with load times and games, plus having a solid 60fps while racing is a huge increase from the orginal 30fps
I added a $60 Samsung T5 SSD at the USB port of my One X. Scrolling through >800 cars looks exactly as it is shown for the series X. Loading time is not as fast as Series X, but way faster than from internal SSD.
Coming from primarily a fan of PlayStation (and Nintendo), it is impossible to ignore the fact that the Series X is truly an absolute powerful house. It also cannot be understated as to how much it improves upon last gen games in almost every conceivable way. I was under the impression that backwards compatibility on the series X would provide a more simple jump in just resolution and frame rates, which would have been perfectly acceptable... however after watching all these comparisons on RU-vid, some of these improvements we are seeing in BC games are obviously much more than just a simple jump in res/fr. so it seems to me that the previous generations games will live on and continue to be played for much longer going into this new generation as compared to any past gaming generations throughout video game history.
Im more leading to the PS5 this year just because I never had a playstation. But I wish I have both so I can have faster loading times cough cough Forza and graphics. This is a great time to be a gamer
I grew up with super Nintendos, 28.8k dial up internet, Windows 95 and the PS1. Short loading times and fancy graphics and nice, but my Xbox One S does a fine job running at 1440p and the time it takes to boot and load doesn't bother me.
I had the Xbox one x, now I own a series x, and I can confirm - this thing is a fucking beast. F.e. The Division 2 - feels like a whole new game. I'm happy 😁
Great comparison. I've upgraded back in November to an external SSD on my original Xbox One and it's seeing pretty much the same load times as the Series X in this preview. So if you don't intend on getting a Series s or X anytime soon, consider upgrading to a decent external SSD at least with your Xbox One to at least enjoy significantly faster load times. Edit: I got my Series X yesterday and the Series XS version running on the internal SSD of the Series X is noticeably faster than the external SSD on my Xbox One.
Having that solid state storage really makes a huge difference, those load times are great. Without a solid release date on FM8 or even a whiff on FM5, I was iffy on upgrading to Series X, but this certainly helps make the decision easier.
