I know that we didn't even got the Apex Allstar update but I already am excited for the Horizon Retrowave update. If the radio station is full of 80's songs or 80's inspired songs I'm going to explode. And if we get an update full of 80's cars, this is 100% going to be the best update of the game. And I love how one of the presenters of the Forza live mentioned Nick and his quarter mile drag event. I was so happy to see Nick being mentioned.

I wish we had classic race cars like the Sauber Mercedes, Oreca Viper, Mazda 787b, Toyota Gt-1, Bentley Speed 8, and the old racing Corvettes.

Pretty cool how theyre adding race cars that arent behind a paywall I kinda wanna see some “regular” cars like a 335i and stuff, maybe even some diesels would be sick, like a 1.9tdi that can build crazy power and torque would be fun

Not all cars from the car pack are no longer racing, as the lexus is still competing in the world endurance championship and Imsa. Also a few teams still run the Merc and the porsche GT3 in smaller championships. But I would have also loved to see newer GT3.

missed oppoortunity for the devs to give us the Senna GTR and finally the P1 GTR in the car pack

This is one of the best updates based on the Evo time attack car alone. I want more Time Attack cars so much, it's crazy that GRID was one of the few cars to do Time Attack cars properly. I also can't wait for the Elantra N TCR car to come to Forza Motorsport. This is a really good update 😭

Good news for you, the devs mentioned that you can tune the Pro Stock to have upwards of 1800hp

The C8.R Is a GTE car. It raced with GT3 cars in IMSA for a few years with special permission from IMSA, but the spec in forza is the full on GTE spec. Also, the GT3-R is not a porsche cup car, it is the GT3 car whereas the RSR is the GTE car.

6-10 EUR car subscription each month is getting crazy. I bet that a ton of people buy these car packs and set precedent for next game in series.

You can also unlock the 2023 zo6 for 80pts the same week you can unlock the ford gt race car so you might want to get the corvette also.

I actually just got the game yesterday and I'm enjoying so far and I will be getting that pro stock car!

Most excited about the Road & Racing parts for Event Lab. There are already a LOT of classic Gran Turismo track remakes (High Speed Ring, Deep Forest Raceway, Trail Mountain, etc,) in event labs which I play a lot. However, they never felt right due to the way the creators had to make up the roads which also ate up a lot of prop points leaving the tracks feeling like a wish version of the originals. With these new parts, this changes EVERYTHING. Not only will creators have proper roads to work with, theyll also have more prop points to play with allowing them to add more props for the background and map itself. I might even give recreating those classics a shot now due to this alone. It was the only thing that really ever held me back from creating them in the 1st place. Add the GT/Race cars as well and man. Crazy how Horizon 5 has added more race cars as DLC than Motorsport 8 at this point. Just wild.

Nick I’m not sure abt the plain porshe in the car pack but the Mercedes “race car” im pretty sure is the f1 pace car for the f1 series and I think they still use it

I skipped the last few car packs, but I'll most probably buy this one. Its always nice to have more 'proper' race cars to drive imo.

In terms of the cars, this is one of my favorite updates so far. I've always wanted to see more racecars that aren't 20+ years old in FH5. I agree that we need newer racecars not all these from multiple years ago though and this applies to Forza Motorsport too, I'd love to see the Ferrari 296 GT3, BMW M4 GT3, and the latest versions of some of the racecars we already have in the game.

Missed opportunity to bring back the ford falcon and Holden commodore Bathurst cars but maybe one day we need more Aussie cars we really be getting left out down under 😭😂

I love the car choices, despite how old they are, i'm hoping it's sign they can put more of them in the future. I'm really hoping there's at least one competitive car, it's been quite a while without a new op car for S2 and X. Despite how much i love to drive the Sesto Elemento FE, i think it's time to have a competitor for its crown.

The new pack looks like it'd still be a lot of fun, but I'd like to see some of the older race cars like the Mazda 787B, maybe it'll be in next months update?

All of these GT3/GTE cars are gonna end up in mid S1 or early S2 or something with only slightly wider tires and restrictor plate removal to bump the PI into mid S2. The drag car will be a literal drag car and probably still get rolled by an Isetta with 900 horsepower or some electric car going in reverse because that's Forza Horizon for you nowadays

Pretty decent update in my opinion. Although most of these GT3 cars are no longer competing in current series, at least the cars in Forza are more recent than most of the GT3 cars in Gran Turismo 7. The BMW M6 and Z4 GT3 cars are still in GT7, with no indication that the M8 or new M4 GT3 cars are coming to the game anytime soon. Same situation with McLaren, Ferrari, and Chevrolet as the 650S, 458, and C7 Corvette have all retired from GT3 racing years ago.

Saw a lot of those GT cars from that car pack at the Long Beach Grand Prix last weekend! Cool to see them in person and now in the game Edit: they probably weren’t the same but they look like it to me who doesn’t know a ton about cars lol

Lexus RCF Mercedes AMG and Corvette are used right now. The Ferrari is iconic, and the Porsche even more, I would prefer those two more than the current 296 and 992. Cadillac is just sick. And we can make our own GT3s like the Ford and the Viper. M8 is also really cool

The corvette C8.R is definitely GTE rather than GT3. They are using the IMSA variant branded as a GTLM (a GT3 would be branded as a GTD)

My Biggest problem with these FH updates is that when there is a special cars update, like track car update, Hot wheels update whatever they don't include at least 1 new barn find to fill in on the map. I'd like forza to do when a new update comes and represents racing motorsports, it includes a barn find featuring a Classic Racing Motorsports cars or a like FH3 where we got a hot wheels update and we got a barn find of something that hot wheels would use or go crazy on
