I'm maxing my 4k 144hz monitor 144fps with 10700k 4090 with dips of 120fps. Only difference is MSAA x2 instead of x8. Hope this helps people wanting to play this in 4k. Looks incredible.

With everything maxed out and on a 5120x2160 display my 3080 FE does 50 fps stable. With a few small reductions (mostly shadows and reflections) I get the 75 fps my display maxes out at.

Why is everyone saying that this is a bottleneck ? He has MSI Afterburner running in the background, you can see his GPU load is 98%, there isn't any bottleneck here. How can it be a bottleneck if the GPU runs in full load ? There isn't any. It would have been a bottleneck if he was playing with the frames unlocked and the load of the GPU would have been 60-70%, that is a bottleneck. He is playing with maximum settings and 8x MSAA. The user saying he is playing on a laptop with 3080 ti and gets the same frames, my friend, you're not playing 4k with 8x MSAA and everything maxed.

Interesting. However you skipped the most important statistic: RPM. Does it run like hairdryer or pretty quiet? Also what's the max resolution a 4090 can get in "The crew 2"? I think 4k max settings should be no problem as it can't go past 60fps.

I am getting the same average fps but around 78 fps 1% lows with a ryzen 7 7800x3d and rx 7900xt using exactly the same graphics settings and playing at 4k. I'm wondering if the 4090 should produce more fps than that?

The only difference with 30 series now is the resolution. 4090 is overkill. Maybe when some more demanding games come out.

I've found that MSAA actually makes 4K look worse. At most I'll only set it to 2x.

Got 5800X3D, RTX 4090 and bought this game when it was released but something I don't like about this game, I think it's the not the Motorsport like way of gameplay. I'm more the real simulation type and stopped playing Horizon 5. Just need a new Forza Motorsort or GT7 on PC!

Well. I might be wrong. I am definitely wrong. But I am playing on my 3770K with 16 Gigs DDR3 and GF 1080 Ti... And i see the difference. But surprisingly it is not THAT significant to ME . Maybe I getting old and outdated but I didn't even tryed modern games. I am still in the Cities Skylines (which sucker forced me to upgrade to 16 gigs of RAM) era. I tried Forza 4 and it looked like it worked good for me. So I don't see the reason to upgrade my graphic card, but I definitely need to upgrade everythin else, LOL. Which is surprisingly cheaper!

You only need an RTX 3080 to max graphics out at 4k. Even the game recommends max 4k on the RTX 3080, but if you have a ton of money, why not.

The FPS suck is ray tracing. Honestly, I couldn't even tell it was turned on if you hadn't told me, so ray tracing is just something I don't seem to really care about and I'm definitely not going to pay the ridiculous prices nvidia are charging if AMD can compete at a significantly cheaper price point.
