I've had lots of anxiety towards driving irl so I bought a wheel for this game to more used to basic car operation terms and actions. While I know it's not totally the same its helped me a lot to better understand how some things work and reduce some anxiety. Loving cruising around the game on sim steering and learning. Watched your videos for years much love man.

hey man. just know it gets better the more you drive. i used to think i could never fucking drive because of just how bad my anxiety got everytime i got behind the wheel. i HATED driving. now i find it extremely therapeutic and enjoy it. the steering wheel is a great idea and that's exactly what i did while learning how to drive

It doesn't matter what game or sim you use that wheel for. It will build an advanced perception in IRL. Much like Autocross, it will teach you muscle memory, confidence in your decisions as a driver.

To respond to your diff tuning 100/100 is basicaly a welded diff something like 95/25 or in that ballpark is more like an lsd annyways run whatever feels best for you i peronaly run 100/20 but at the end of the day its all down to personal prefference

@ryan noel if you do have a differential in the front, meaning you’re on AWD, I recommend running pretty low diff power and coast. I’m pretty sure they were talking rear wheel drive

For left foot braking I usually run 35% Brake Bias and then a fully locked diff. I usually tune the suspension to be give a lot of lateral grip but not a lot of take off grip. Keeps the car from bogging down mid corner and keeps the car from forcing itself down to the inside of the corner

I don’t have a handbrake or a round wheel yet(I have a GT racing wheel) but I practiced it running the clutch as the handbrake and just used my shifter for gears a day ago now I’m gettting 800,000+ on that drift zone watching your videos helped. I’m not at 900 degree wheel rotation yet but I Worked my way up to 720

All I’ve ever owned are Corollas and to see one in game, especially the current gen, feels amazing it’s like driving my own car. Hopefully we see them a lot more in the future because even though they aren’t very sporty they’re just fantastic cars

I may be a minority here but I absolutely hated fh4 physics and was terrified of what this game would feel like. I play a ton of assetto corsa and Motorsport 7. Within the first ten minutes of playing this game I was amazed. The physics felt so much better, my wheel worked better, granted it’s an old Logitech but it works better on the horizon 5 then it does with 4. I had really bad clutch problems on 4, and at first I did on 5 but I had to re assign it in a custom wheel layout and haven’t had a problem since. And as far as settings. I’ve made very very small changes that haven’t done much more than just make me more comfy. Even in complete stock forza set up I thought it felt great. I’m incredibly impressed with this game. Good job to anybody that worked on this and thanks slap train for keeping the hype up and delivering on the content. Your an absolute legend in my book. Love you and your channel. And this fan base. Y’all are the most supportive group of RU-vid fans I know. Love this community.

For the diff tuning i usually go 95 acceleration 70-75 decel for some lift off oversteer when you encounter understeer under power

The Isetta drifts are probably legit. A proper AWD tune and its basically a Miata on crack with its snappiness. That was one of my best points cars when i could control it😆

I have done a bit of messing around with how the differential feels when drifting. What I have noticed is that it only affects the car when you let off the throttle and depending on your upgrades of tires / grip and tuning of your gears. Basically saying it affects how far your car will power-slide, don't want to slide as far raise it up to 70's and 80's want to go further lower it to what you think is right. for most of my tunes I have it at 73 -75. try it out and let me know what you think. I don't have much of a media presence so you wont really be able to find me. Cheers though, been watching you for over 2 years and love the videos!! Keep it up!

The diff deceleration is how fast the car decelerates when your not pressing the throttle so it's user preference and depends how fast or slow you want your car to slow down when your not accelerating

pretty much is you want to be able to break and not have to worry about the rear tires locking as much then go 100 - 0 on the dif, but i personally use the breaks to extend my drifts so i use 100-100

Dude I’m equivalent of taking a Drag Racer to Circuit Track. In this case a Grip Racer to a Drift Event. I only drift in manual but race in auto. Been playing Forza since FM1 and Gran Turismo on the old school PlayStation days so I’m not new at this. I just can’t grasp the concept of drifting.

I was doing 5 laps on the Goliath with my thrustmaster R383 wheel and it turns off completely and resets its self when I get to lap 3. The only way to get my wheel settings back is to reset my PC .

Slap try this when u trying to slide in a corner with your e-brake press the clutch in and gas’s so when you let off the e-brake and then let off the clutch so u don’t bog down 9:47 when you slide for the corner you use the e-brake and then u let off and then get on the gas press the clutch in and gas and then let off the e-brake and the clutch and u will be smother ps:love u slap keep ur the good work your get better every day💙💙💙💙

The best FD cars are the #34 Supra, #777 s15, #777 corvette and my baby the #88 rtr mustang (just cause I am a huge denofa fan). I'm at like 1.23mil on this zone. This zone and percipone(don't know if I spelled it rigjht) are the only 2 I'm not top 1000. Honestly you need to try the #777 s15, the amount of angle I can crank on that car on controller is nutty so I could only imagine a what you could do with a wheel.
