Super GT back on Forza. This is where it all started for me. I love to see it. Can’t wait to see you in the Forza GT races. The game has really surprised me with how much better the racing is! I’m S 4700 rated currently and the lobbies are awesome! Constantly getting messaged by people I raced with talking about the close and intense battles we had! 🎉🎉

Really fun game I didn't expect that! the penalty system is very nice and intelligent and without penalty lines the worst thing in FMS is the rear view mirror in the cockpit view it's blocking the view, and you can't make up the distance from it also, the proximity arrows are glitchy. I liked the lobby capacity of more than 20 players

@@RockyRoads1 change the fov in the game play settings. Go online search fov calculator. It will calculate the size of your screen and the distance from your eyes to the screen. Use that number for all view settings in gameplay settings. It will distort the size of the wheel and a hands and possibly the rearview mirror but all of that is irrelevant because your field of you is how far out see from left to right so even if things in the cockpit look oversized everything outside of the windshield will be correct to life-size as if you were in the car.

This is the most fun I have had on a console racer since Project Gotham Racing 2. Of cours Forza is a hell of a lot more regimented and controlled as well as challenging which made my finishing 4th at Laguna Seca last night on worn out tires in a hard fought battle, a clean battle no less, one of the most satisfying results I have ever had on a console racer..

The safety and skill ratings are definitely making a big difference, loads of great racing, I'm S/3200 so not even that high.

As soon as you drop out of S rating it gets pretty crazy. In A I was getting rammed off the course, I can only imagine a lower score. Once I was back in S safety it was very clean racing again

Once you get through the initial multiplayer “qualifying” the races are decent between A and S ratings. I’m so excited as the Turn10 team will keep making improvements to the penalty system.

@@Modmaann did you forget the week of "early access"?!?!?! first impression are important and its absolutely not too quick to judge are you high?!?!, THE GAME IS FULLY RELEASED AND IS £70, plus the 6+ years in development the fact you even said this unironically is utterly pathetic and shows you have such low or non existent standards the game is fully released and had some time in early access, so leave out your disingenuous BS and lack of standards as an excuse, its not valid at all

Ive been playing multiplayer with a wheel and it’s surprisingly good but sometimes the experience is inconsistent especially with physics, it just doesnt make sense all the time but the format and ratings/rankings for multiplayer is a really good system and i really enjoy it. Finally able to play against others in loads of different cars and different tracks so its really good. They need to continue with the updates and work on the game more though, sometimes i get punished for using curbs and literally stops u in ur tracks as if there is an invisible wall there, I experienced this at silverstone when driving a 911 RSR

Had an absolute mess of a GT race at hakone, ended up rammed off twice and I lost my S rating, back down to A and 4580 something for now, I’ve only had a few races and apart from getting obliterated it’s been incredible throughout, multiplayer is the saving grace of this game big time

Got rammed off multiple times in all 3 of my "intro to multiplayer" races, got penalties for going off track after being punted into the shadow realm, and am now having a horrendous time trying to escape the low SR lobbies. I'm sure I'll get out eventually but for now the rammers are brutal.

The event variety & general lack of downtime in this mode is absolutely vital for an online mode, it's so refreshing to play because of that. Just the fact that a race ends and it puts you into a new track(!!) with a race starting only a few minutes away is an absolute game changer for something like this. Playing GT and having a race end and having the next race be 10+ minutes away with it also being the same combo every time is genuinely quite dreary. Having 3 of the same races for a whole week (basically 2 now A is unranked) is really bad for player interest.

I've come from a long long history with Gran Turismo and I must say the online racing so far in FM has been very good. I scored a 2nd in my first race and then bottled a win from 1st on the penultimate corner on the last lap in the following race. People drive well and like gentlemen. Love to see it

As someone who rarely jumped into MP on past Forzas, this MP has been quite fun to take part in and not run into any smashes online (Likely being A to S equalling rams aren't as frequent). Top marks for the dude who sent the wholesome nice message on XBL, I salute them. Can't wait for more Forza vids down the line

im just having a lot of fun in the multiplayer. I get so tired and mad in games like f1 23 with rammers, but everyone i have raced against in forza motorsport have been respectful.

I started last night and I agree it is amazing on multiplayer and it's great with my wheel and pedals, I actually think it's better than ACC for the overall driving feel and experience

If you can break the tow from the people behind, the Subaru Levorg is actually quite good around Maple Valley on the medium tyres as they tyres don't degrade all that much.

the multiplayer is actually good! No crashes really! And the game is actually very playable on a wheel! I've just finished my 3 qualifier races, got a P2 and two P1 finishes. Call me up, Red Bull, I'll replace Checo.

Yeh ngl, it got a bit worse for me on release because i fell 7 places from p1 in Nurburg Sprint because of people not knowing how to have close racing, but i managed to get P1 back because i was on hards, and they were on mediums

FM MP should be getting more chaotic now, since the population is allowed to play, not only people with EA, but htey need to fix both penalties in MP, and ratings. Also, that's a Civic :D

The safety rating is NOT working as of now. See Forza forums. You always race in your LOWEST safety rating (not your current safety rating). Just so you be aware. It'll probably be fixed soon but for now you should be extra cautious.

Started playing last night. Game felt terrible until I changed the absolutely senseless default controller settings. Enjoying it much more now. Anybody who decides to play this on controller, adjust the controller settings dead zones first. For some reason they decided giving you a dead zone 1/4 of the total stick travel distance by default was a good idea.

I got killed about a million times in my starter races so I got placed in B SR and 4500 Skill. In those ranks It seems like half the lobby has less brain cells than whatever car we're driving has cylinders

I’ve only just started playing but today I had a guy down the straight repeatedly try to push me around for whatever reason, finally I was fed up and took both of us jnto the wall. After that he did the rest of the race with some clean driving very odd.

Watching this when I realized I played against super GT. In his second race at mapple valley. I'm the driver having a little moment at the end of the first lap in the grey gti. Bit sad i did not realized it while playing. Must have been to concentrated on the race. Those are some really fun and close races. Hope to see y'all on the track soon!

I know nothing about racing games, but it seems to me that people in lobbies are generally quite deliberate in this game. I think any contact buggers up your lap time so dramatically that people seem to actively avoid it... I might be wrong

I only play in cockpit but I noticed that the racing was super close even though lots play in chase, it’s not such a huge advantage like it was in FM7

Usually hate multiplayer. I find it too stressful, but I've played multiplayer much more than single player. So far, I've found that the races have been mostly fair. I think I've been rammed twice in close to 100 laps. Not bad.

My first race was good! Went 3 wide through 2 corners without crashing but ended up getting pushed wide throuigh a corner and I got the penalty for it which did cost me the 1st place. Still was fun. The game is technicaly trash though.

they arent wrong to be fair, especially on pc shame too as it doesn't feel too bad to drive and drift, not that they bothered to add anything updated for drifting anyway still the same stuff from FM7 but even less because we have no drift cars or hoonigan cars,. they didnt even do the bare minimum of porting the drift tyres over from horizon 5 they cared so little and have so little passion now

@@jaxxxn_ no it isnt m8 they literally marketed the game, and the Formula Drift cars are in PROMOTINAL material m8, so how is it a licensing issue when they clearly already have the license to use them? "the game isnt focused on drifting"?, but it partly is though, FM7 had drifting events and lobbies, horizon 5 has drifting events, challenges and lobbies and both Turn 10 and PGG work in tandem now so theres no excuses, but they have been including drifting, its part of the franchise now much like drag racing, did you miss they have drift springs but not tyres? gearbox? diff? its laziness and they didnt even do the bare minimum and port them over from FH 5 this is part of the reason why, and the games a mess, 65% 1 stars on xbox and mixed on steam as its absolutely dreadful on pc but the game itself has core issues

Safety rating helps, penalties need to improve. However, in lower pace / skill ratings punting is still very present, especially in mid field. And it got worse today, after early access ended. My multiplayer experience in early access was better. However, i have more fun in multiplayer then back in FM7.

Definitely enjoying the game just hate seeing all the same cars. I very rarely bother with qualifying I'm never gona beat the front runners but really enjoy making up 14, 15 places. Providing no one knocks me off 😂

Man, when I started, I was like a 4706 now I’m down to a 2105. It goes down quick.😅 not sure if it’s just placing bad going down in positions or just going off the track to decreases it but I know that with getting penalties that makes your SR go down and just not getting them for a few will make your safety rating go up pretty significantly
