Not into tech but very into good music listening so have ordered this item . Hadn’t come across these compact Chinese brands with names unknown to me . However after watching a number of videos, read reviews etc I decided this machine was what I needed so fingers crossed and if it doesn’t suit my ears I can always return to Amazon!!

Have it connected to Klipsch outdoor speakers on screened porch. It works awesomely.

I picked up the non Pro version because I would like a basic turntable/photo setup for my daughter and the $55 sale on Amazon seemed like a decent deal. This seemed like a decent choice because of the RCA inputs plus Bluetooth so that she can also stream Spotify from her phone. The amp does well when volume is at half or higher, but bass is extremely weak at low volume even with the bass gain turned all the way up. I really don't need any more power than this, but I do want more bass... would the Pro version have more bass at low volume? I need more bass gain or something the old school "loudness" buttons ;-).

How do you switch between aux and Bluetooth? Or does aux only function when there is no Bluetooth connection?

Hi, thanks for the nice review. I have a question regarding the math behind the advertised max. "300W" per Channel. How is this calculated? If I fosi is delivering a power supply, which has the specs you've explained [-> 24Vx5A (120W) up to 48V*5A (240W)], I just can't imagine that this can deliver 300W per channel. And thats not even counting in any energy loss through heat dissipation, resistance etc. Am I missing something?

Take it with a big spoon of salt. I have it, it’s wonderful for what it is for desktop listening, casual game room setup etc. but let me be clear, it’s no match for a well built, well priced offerings from Cambridge or Emotiva etc. The Emotiva Mini X-A100 beats the snot out of this little bugger in terms of superb midrange weight, bass depth and tightness and well resolved treble and separation. But for $80, this BT20a Pro does hold a surprise or two on how well it still can drive medium to large speakers. Anything upto 11 O’clock position sounds good. Beyond that it loses its composure, but it’s already pretty loud 90db by then. Try this for fun and you may find a use case.

Great review! My 20a pro's volume nob has a little slack going from left to right. Did your review sample have slack or was it tight? Thank you.

Mine is the same. I wish it didn't have it because it makes it feel cheap.

I bought it 1 week ago and I have the same gap. But it doesn't pose a problem. Of course, it would feel better if there was no gap.

Hey, thanks for the review! just wondering why you would use the RCA input from Alexa, instead of connecting with Alexa's Bluetooth?

I am confused. A "pre out" output can be used to send the signal to a subwoofer. Right? But the amplifier is advertised as 2.0. Can that "pre out" output be used to connect a subwoofer?

You can connect an active sub to the preout

how do you avoiid bluetooth hijacking since this doesnt have an input selector switch. bluetooth is always the priority over the analog inputs.

Hey there. I have the non pro version. I'm running it preout from my denon 4300h for 2 extra ceiling speakers. It's powered through a trigger cable. When I turn my Reciever off it's now got a pop/thump noise. This did not happen with my old Adcom amp hooked up the same way to my denon

I just cant stand the deceptive marketing regarding power outputs 300w per channel BUT at 4ohms BUT with a 48v 10a power brick which costs more than the amp itself. Realistically nobody is buying these to use on 4ohm speakers nor would i even trust a sub 100 dollar amp.
@meagainokay7673
@meagainokay7673 8 месяцев назад
I got mine today for AUD$129 and got the 48v power brick for AUD$69 so it costs way less than the amp. I am using Warfdale 6ohm bookshelf speakers, and let me tell ya it friggin pumps with no distortion at all. It also sounds great which surprised me to be honest. It won't replace an expensive class A amplifier but it would give an amp in say the $900 range a good run. Can't beat the price to sound ratio!

@OrazCostanzo No pops or humming at all, even when switching on/off with volume on full. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to sell anyone on it but I think it's really good for the price imo.
